I think people are misunderstanding what he is saying about gays and homosexuals. He isn't saying he is supporting it,but saying how can people not express love despite his/her faults when Jesus accepted all our shortcomings and put it on the cross. You can love a person and not agree with their beliefs and/or behaviors. SPREAD LOVE PEOPLE that's the message and it was clear not watered down. If you see someone falling pray from them.. you don't always have to call them out but let God lead you if you do. We're so quick to share our "opinion" Trust God knows all.. what you need to work on and what the person you're judging need to work on.

I am truly enjoy listening to and love Andy Mineo! However, I do not believe he brought the whole truth on homosexuality. So many are trying to go to the extremes of hate or of love when it comes to addressing people who have chosen this as their lifestyle and those who do not want be homosexual but truly struggle with it. (By extremes of hate I mean bashing people, and of love I mean the idea that God accepts people who chose to say something is right that He says if wrong. He loves them yes, but is He pleased? No!) It is important that as Christians we live and speak the truth in love. Romans 1:18-32 speaks clearly about how if a person chooses the lifestyle of homosexuality, they exchange the Truth of God for a lie, and God gives them over to a reprobate mind. For those who struggle with homosexuality, God says to submit to Him (be saved and repent) and He will help whoever does to turn away from the sins that are trying to destroy them. As Andy said it's not just with homosexuality; God does not tolerate any sin at all, but He is merciful to all of us who recognize to Him that our sins are wrong and that we do not have the power to stop committing them, thinking about them, or wanting to do them. He then gives us strength through His Spirit beyond any strength we have to overcome the mess that's in us. I am living witness to this! No, Jesus would not chase people down with hate like some do, but I guarantee you that He would give them the truth in love. And He gives us the choice to accept or reject it.

It wasn’t the act that made it sin, it was the fact that they disobeyed God. They had a rebellious and evil heart. Sin is sin is sin. Acknowledge people’s struggles with sin, and strive to help them overcome it - whatever the sin may be. Read Romans 1:16-32. Read II Peter 2:1-22. Then go preach the truth, and preach it in love. To have Love is to say the full truth don't matter if it hurts. believe in the power of God.

Personally, I think Andy handled it well, you've gotta keep in mind that this is a business and his livelihood. Saying that "I don't agree with homosexuality" would cause Andy to receive so much flak, especially with the media, and the amount of sound bytes that happen nowadays, he'd then lose credibility from the eye of the public. These are things that Christians gotta tread lightly upon, I don't say "I disagree with homosexuality" when walking around on my campus, that's just stupid. Is interesting you mention the "this is a business" quote. i was signed, to sony bmg mx for some time, i was in the industry for a wile behind boards and that curtain where only a few people see. i got to hear secular artist with a "God loves me, and He is backing me up" and his/her life reflected a complete contradiction of the Gospel shining in their life, and many times thats because people told them half way truths. By speaking the truth your trusting in GOD not the "business" by hiding some truth your trusting in the "business" not God, because you think if i say the truth, this door may shut down. yes even CHH has a very large business side that is also complex, that "business" is necessary to organize the same. but you cant comprise truth at all.. the truth of God is not debatable when is preached.
