Very early in using The Pro but one thing Dan said in this reinforces one feel I have discovered and that is the idea of rounding the swing from top instead of moving my hands in a straight line from position at top of swing to the ball. If I feel like the first order of business is getting the grip, rope and pillow in a straight line, the Pro seems to stay in that line throughout. Have not taken it to course yet but can't wait to try.

After working on the driving force stuff I actually started to feel what Dan was describing on getting it out early and riding it out. Now I'm trying to incorporate that feeling to my irons since I was only doing that Kyle Berkshire rocking move with the driver. My speed definitely increased and the so did my consistency/accuracy which is the best part. I really think the combination of the two is key for speed and consistency

Brenden, I have been following you at least for 4 years. I am seeing a pro swing being developed. The next challenge will be taking it to the course. Keep it up. It is exciting to watch.

This really changes my thoughts of maintaining lag tension throughout the swing.

Thank you for doing these pro videos. It seems this really goes along with a lot of your guests’ teaching and clarifies that first move from the transition. Very Malaska/Bobby/Monte

Dan's comment (at around frame 10:30) of the club feeling light in the downswing was helpful. Thanks!

Dan, I bought a Pro. I'm loving it. Question: When I swing my Pro, my first move from the top is actually a move AWAY from the target. However, in my golf swing, I don't take the club all the way to parallel- my arms are just above parallel to the ground at the top of my swing ( say a 3/4 swing). So...what should be my first down be? Still a slight move away from the target?

This is why I'm a believer of building the swing up from the small actions. Lot more halfswings will help you more imo

All these fancy training aids are well and good but the moment you switch to the real clubs, it goes south again. Can coaches teach with real golf clubs so no switching is required. I am bit confused.

It looks like a good training aid. However, for most people golf is difficult because they haven't consciously learnt how to use the tool (golf club) they're being asked to use - particularly learning control of the clubface. A golf club requires a specific understanding and training to use. So movement and timing drills like in this video are a bit redundant unless the student first knows how to control clubface. 90% of slicers change their body movements not because of lag timing etc but because the subconsious mind knows that the clubface will be wide-open at impact....

How is this device different from the Orange Whip? It seems like a similar concept. Both training aids appears to work on rhythm & tempo, direct momentum and centrifugal force, and deliver lag into the ball. How is this device different?

I used to have a whippy club. I think the whippy club would let you get away with a lot more errors. i.e. you could still hit the black spinny pad with the whippy club where you would totally miss with the rope.

I noticed that when you practice with The Pro you are bending your left arm. He didn't seem to mind, but I wonder if that is hurting you feeling the proper feel sometimes.

I think like Hogan all the time although I don’t smoke (maybe that’s the reason), never, never do I hit the ball like Hogan. The last thing I need is another gimmick tool.

Grab an old iron. Go to an open field. Learn how to throw it with your swing as far as you can in a straight or slightly right line. You'll find that the "release" is "early"...this swing trainer is going to feel the same.

Also not sure about this method of coaching . I sometimes think you must get confused with all these different drills . Stick with Eric meichtry and keep it simple.

Looks like a great way to loose all your speed....Gears and BodiTrak are pretty clear on this topic. You really can't recenter weight early enough. The reloading of the lead leg should start around P3-P4. Pressuring out of the lead leg early is what creates: rotation, then stabilizing of the lead hip to deliver the upper segments with power. Pure garbage keeping anything on the trail leg out of the top. Look at: Matt Wolfe, DJ, Justin, Bubba, Reed (the list goes on). They all move that front foot because they are spiking lead leg pressure well before impact. Guess what else they all do? Absolutely hammer the golf ball with 175+ ball speeds. If you're 65 with two hip replacements...you get a green light to try this swing, everyone else: DELETE this information.

Last year, I was watching videos of those you mentioned to see that they did with their feet. I did not realize how fast their right heel came off the ground!!! Well before their club started even started down...

You're stretching that left arm "on purpose" at the start of the downswing. It should happen naturally by itself as a result of the sitting move.
