Men don’t care about relationships and women don’t care about sex, and for some reason men would be on a dating app that caters to women and vice versa. This movie's plot does a bad job of showing it but it deals with the toxic culture that many women are faced with; some men, who through long standing images and ideals about women have a very toxic, pornographic imagination of women, and young women, which the female characters in this movie are just barely adults, who many times find themselves in dilemmas with relationships and sex; they're exposed to 2 very different ways they should be; the sexy, sex object who many guys are attracted to and the type of women that's pure, type of girl you would marry, not slutty. My problem is that both types are very extreme one way or the other and young women may hear praise and how sexy they are from one side and critisism and that they're a slut from the other,and the sexy, attractive girl is straight from the pornorgraphic imagination that has been displayed numerous times in movies, music video, ads,etc this imagination is extremely sexist. The problem is not what men or women are or aren't doing sexually, it's the ideas being fed to them, the type of culture those ideas and images create and their effect on young women and men.

Some homeless people have phones. Some homeless people have jobs. Actually an app like this would be great since people like you assume that all homeless people are the stereotype, and would have no use for an app.
@johnindigo54774 жыл бұрын
I mean, smart phones can be cheap at pharmacy's and corner stores. Most people could become homeless even when having a job or steady income. You could lose your house or get kicked out by your parents. Or be a drifter travelling.

@merlith46502 жыл бұрын
that's not true. unless you are speaking from the perspective of a female, in that case.. i wouldn't know because i have used tinder as a straight male. but i think it varies alot depending on region and country. in my local area (norway) i barely see anyone who claim they are using it for hookups.. i changed my location to LA and suddenly 90% of the profiles were just horny people, girls in bikinis and ass pictures. and then on the complete opposite side of the spectrum, i changed my location to what i believe was South Korea and i literally couldn't find one girl with a full selfie of her face. either they were selfies with faces covered up by facemasks or just random pictures of food. the cultural differences of Tinder are hilarious.
