Excellent video. Especially the visual setup with the system isolated and components cut away, but all around as well. I was just tuning up my cousin's old work truck and found I barely remembered anything about distributors. Until you mentioned it, I even forgot that's how we used to adjust the timing.

Thanks for this information information, I've had a misfire on my mk1 citi, changed my HT leads, spark plugs and distribututor but didn't realize that the "new" distributor was actually a second hand one so it was very dirty

I don't fully understand your question, but if you were talking about the contact points, they need gap adjustment from time to time!

How about bad condenser in distributor it can cause also a misfire sir?
