Drop C for the ultimate win. I wonder if they wrote this 12 years ago and for whatever the reason, it didn't make the cut. Now, all this time later, they're like "Hey remember that one song? Let's make a single out of it!" and here we are. That's how seamless this shit seems to me.

if john is 50 now, then he was probably 46 or 47 yrs old when they made this, and hes still doing crazy thrash beats, blast beats, and some bits sounded a bit like power metal drumming, and to top that all off his timing is just as good as it was when they started all those years ago. bro is aging like the finest wine known to man

@@DarkPeter Music doesn't need to be complex or difficult to be good, that's where SOAD shines; they keep things simple but memorable. And for my money, Mesmerize was a great album, Hypnotize not so much but still killer tracks on it. For the OP, Daron was always the primary music composer from the beginning, unless you mean lyrics?

This goes extremely hard. The blastbeats and vocals at 1:30 are perfect - the production, execution, everything... If this ends up being the final song of their career then I can't imagine them going out on a higher note.
