This song sounds like it could've easily been lifted from Hypnotize. It's crazy to see that they can still capture that old magic and to hear Serj's aggressive vocals again is so amazing. Serj's vocals, Daron's writing, and their harmonies are what make System Of A Down such a great band.

@@renansamlas I've said this before and I'll keep saying it. I'd rather them not put out an album than force on out. I think something that contributes to them not wanting to put out an album is the fact that a new album has been hyped up so much by fans that no matter what they put out it wont meet expectations. Even if its good in wont be as good as some might have hoped. At most I'd like a live album of some sort. Wake Up the Souls would be awesome since the videos I've seen of that tour were badass.

It feels like just yesterday it was 2008, I was 3 years old and my mom (who got me into metal) was still heartbroken after the SOAD breakup. For as long I can remember I've been loving System of a Down and I always thought "I'm never going to hear a new SOAD song" because I was born the year their last album came out. Now here I am, 15 years old, long hair, head banging to the band that made me into the person I am today. Now I'm not religious but, thank God for System of a Down and God bless Armenia & Artsakh. 🤘

SOAD is like Rammstein: they recorded so many great songs, we listen them on repeat constantly. They can sit back and relax. No new album is required, but it would be highly appreciated

@@DarkPeter Music doesn't need to be complex or difficult to be good, that's where SOAD shines; they keep things simple but memorable. And for my money, Mesmerize was a great album, Hypnotize not so much but still killer tracks on it. For the OP, Daron was always the primary music composer from the beginning, unless you mean lyrics?
