Agedashi Tofu is one of my favorite dishes EVER!! Found all the ingredients at the local store. The lady who helped me immediately asked what Japanese food I was making. I had to make a second batch as the first one didn't turn out. Second one was awesome.

I can't get over how young Satoshi looks in this video. Wow. Shinichi is like an adult cat: he always looks the same age no matter how many years pass. This is such an excellent video-- well described, no babbling filler, charming and a foolproof recipe for a traditional dish most travellers to Japan will be delighted to be able to replicate at home. Thanks guys!

Hi guys, I am so glad you are open for suggestions. I have been waiting for your demo on how to make kimchi Japanese style because it won't be as spicy and salty like how the Korean makes them. I think I have asked you before but never received any response about it. Now, more and more people are into Fermentation so it would be nice if Satoshi can show us using one head of Napa cabbage.

I know it is very late to comment but.... I will watch your latest video and KZbin will suggest more. Some days I end up watching your videos for several hours. Today, this one popped up and I am surprised that I never saw it before. A friend has not been able to master fried tofu and buys them dry and fried at the grocery store. It’s okay, but I have never had fried tofu so can’t compare to good or bad, fresh or frozen fried tofu. We will try it next month when I visit her. Have you ever made desserts with tofu? The ones I have done are wonderful.
