It's not the manufacture. Manufactures don't own their dealers. The dealers can kinda do what ever they want. If some people are stupid enough to pay ridiculous price. Then let them pay it. I'll never pay over msrp. If anything, I'll wait till I can get a deal.

@@mikemartin3191 I’m not talking about mark ups. Anyone paying even a $1 mark up is an idiot. But MSRPs are definitely up. A 2020 Tacoma off-road 4x4 had a msrp of $39k. Same trim/package now has a msrp of $50-$55k BEFORE any dumb dealership markups

That floor mat is the wrong one. I got the TRD Off-road all weather floor mat and it fits perfectly. Take it back to the dealer.

I picked mine up from one of the best Toyota dealerships in the area a couple weeks back and didn't get tire shine and a bow. Instead I got a detail that involved wiping down the pollen with shop rags. Dealership aside, the underground is growing on me with the color change depending on light etc. Aside from investing in detail equipment, it's a pretty sweet truck. It's been a good upgrade from the jeep it replaced. Hopefully someone comes out with a quad 6.5 sub box soon.

rides smoother and better than my 2020 tacoma, yes its more money but it can do the same job with newer and better creature comforts and its not as slow and clunky as the 2020. the 4cy engine is actually pretty sweet with the twin turbo. I like it alot!

I finaly pulled the trigger on a blue , trd sport with the 4K trd package .. no dealer mark up out the door 52k.. mud guards , rubber floor mats , back window opens and side mirrors have led . Not that I care about any of those but yeah can’t be more happy with this purchase and it’s a toyota so hopefuly this 4cyl turbo is as good as the last gen.. 🙏🏼

The gas tank in that truck is a no go your tank is almost full and it says your range is only 222 miles to empty even if its full you would probably only be at 260-270 miles to empty

I have factory leather in my 23 TRD Off Road, but since Black is so hard to keep clean, I contacted Katzkin and they made me Barcelona Red Leather for my Tacoma. I sold my factory black leather to a friend who also owns a 23 TRD, so he could take off his grey cloth interior and install the Black Leather from mine. I hope that the Turbo will last for the 300K miles that my Naturally Aspirated 3.5L V6.

That is like my old FJ that got about 220 total while lift. My Colorado Diesel ZR2 get around 600-650 a tank lol. Can't wait to see more content on the new Tacoma.

Like i said before, i hope companies sell bigger intercoolers, BOVs, Downpipes & cold air intakes for this Turbo. Because slapping on 35-37 & overlanding gear, & bumpers etc etc is gonna damage that turbo in the long run if u dont let it breathe right or release that exhaust

Not to down it, I'd still be very happy with it, just personally not the biggest fan of how the exterior looks, it looks sort-of like a smaller Tundra/F-150 being extremely square, and the interior is overly square as well, but I love the tech inside, especially the bed camera and 3D renderings. Curious if there are anymore privacy compromises in the 2024, any cameras facing towards the driver/inside, etc.? The 2023 was already bad enough, I had to call and have all of the insane "features" deactivated, the always on microphone, the connected app, and remove consent to all of the driving/use/selling data collection. They punish you by taking away the remote start, but installing a 3rd party with no subscription is a win-win. I'm not a fan of 4 cylinder turbo's either, this was a huge mistake imo, more wear and tear on the engine, a turbo that will break-down and cost several thousand over time, and you won't save any gas mileage because you'll have to push the engine harder to get the same power as the tried and true V6. Will be curious to see long-term use for 2024 1st gen owners.

I love how Mateo acts like the rear view mirror being an actual mirror instead of a full time screen is a feature. Every mirror/monitor has had that same feature since the first one came out.

I don't think you understand how important this is, and why an LCD screen using a reflective coating is more clever than you realize. They could have easily made the inside view for the rearview another camera as well, which is a massive privacy issue having cameras facing inside of our vehicle. I'm still concerned about what else they've packed into the vehicle, but it's a good start in terms of mindset/practicality. Please go and read "privacy not included" and go to the car section.
