de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Finkelstein I would not say so. The man has no respect from his peers and if you listen to him you hear hate and radical wording and nothing but that. On top of that the man sees himself as a sort of hero and martyr. Likening and comparing himself to great historical figures. He is popular among actual neo nazis and other extremists and nothing but… And he seems to be on a personal vendetta against israeli and jewish institutions because of perceived personal mistreatment. He in fact has called for war… and justified terror and war.

I have to disagree with you , If you think that his works or his views are of hate against the Zionist country called Israel that is far from the true . Israel does not represent all Jews nor its actions. And that’s what the problem. Reside . If his opinion of Israel are considered antisemite. Then when you expect the problem to be fixed . Either you need to get out of your bubble , or go to you local library and start investigation the root of the problem

This is the guy you are rooting for 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (41:25 - 42:15) he argues Germany still to be authoritarain and without a deeply rooted democratic culture because of "how easy" it is for them to "suppress all of the dissent". (45:15 - 46:28) he calls Germany's support of Ukraine "despicable" and says he will spit in Scholz's face if he sees him. Germany owes Russia (and of course only Russia, not Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, the Baltics,..) an eternal dept which appearantly means Russia has the right to invade

He is the only person whose cynicism I like. I love his passive aggressive energy, which comes from a deep contempt for injustice. When he talked about the german tanks in Ukraine and how he hopes they will burn, I heard such enormous contempt for the Nazis that explains why he is who he is. He is a child of Auschwitz survivors who refuses to change from victim to perpetrator. He deserves great respect for that. Although he has his own views, he allows every person to have their own view of life. He is the calmest choleric and the most tolerant intolerant. Just a cool guy.

I wish I met this great human giant and were his neighbor. I would cook him food, help him with housekeeping, give him rides when he needs some, share my small earnings with him. Such a shame that we live in the wealthiest nation in the world, yet must endure lack of basic needs including intangible elements of happiness like having a job that fulfills self-actualization. Homelessness in America defeats any notion of modern civilization we may claim. There is absolutely no excuse for it when we have infinite number of shipping containers that could be converted into shelter homes with basic necessities at some modest cost. We throw away so much food that is sufficient to feed the hungry people on this planet. This interview of Dr. Finkelstein is the most human and heart capturing of any interview I have seen before. I wish him health, happiness, fulfillment and long life. We need this great man by all means to give us doses of unwavering courage and devotion to truth and Justice. He will be remembered as the Socrates of our modern history without wishing upon him the same end! Salutes!

Prof. Finkelstein. How I would love to see you. Shake your hand and give you a respectful embrace. Right now I am going through a difficult situation. So, I opened my phone and saw your interview. Your humanity and wise remarks touched me. It will not change my situation but it will give me strength to bear it with humanity and dignity. That is an enormous gift. Thank you for everything. There, for the grace of God go I.

I wish I could give my years to Mr Finkelstein, he enlightens so many people with modesty, true values and knowledge, but most importantly his empathy, sacrifice and fierce fight for the most depraved will echo for centuries to come! Such intelect, moral values and dedication are inspirational❤

it's exactly how I feel... so many times I thought damn Robert Fisk just died ... or Howard zinn or even gore vidal or John Pilger... the first 50 years of my life had zero positive input on the betterment of society... which is a tough thing to do I admit but I'm still trying...

I’ve been listening to and learning from Dr. Finkelstein for many years. He is such a brilliant, caring, honourable, ethical, and honest person. This is one of my favourite interviews! I related so deeply to what he said and was brought to tears during some parts of it. I could sense the melancholia tinged within his observations, and quite frankly, I think it’s difficult to live in this world today without feeling saddened very often. Thank you for keeping it real, Professor (as always) 💜 I feel less alone listening to you.

If Finkelstein's life is meaningless, I wonder what we call our lives as ordinaries... He is the most spectacular inspiring person left around us globally and a hell of a meaningful life he lived. He is genuinely and meaningfully loved and respected, not many have those. I met him in person after a public lecture, speech in Europe, and even talked with him after that a few times briefly, he is the most down-to-earth person who was responding to all people around him, paying attention to them even after such a lengthy nonstop speech/conference he gave.. and he remembered me later when I sent him notes years later. This shows how caring and humanistic person he is and how humble he is. God Bless Him. It is great that such amazing people like Norman Finkelstein and Noam Chomsky are Jewish also, they are so inspiring humanbeings.

Dear Prof. Finkelstein, Your incorruptible ethical attitude, your discernment and your academic achievements have also produced another great human achievement - willingness to make sacrifices. For this you deserve my highest respect. Even if you may not notice it directly, the world has also become a little better because of you. There are many Germans who are ashamed of their government, but there were never enough votes to neutralize the inhumanity and historical amnesia of this government. With greetings from Lübeck, Germany and kind regards! Detlef Koch
