Pretty good set of exercises grasshopper. So many of your videos are in your yard. I wonder if you could deduct the space as outside studio space on your taxes? Looks like it could be a professional business expense to me.

Jake, I just started getting into Taiji and although I plan on using it for mediation purposes, I've always known the moves can be used for self defense. I have been an avid Martial Arts fan all my life, I enjoy your teaching style as well as the quotes before each segment. I work in healthcare and as I am getting older, I am even more appreciative of calmness Taiji brings and "cup emptying" it now does for me. Thanks for making it fun.

You CAN deduct as a legitimate business expense to reduce business income ( thereby reducing your self employment taxes).. Just figure out the square footage of your home that you use, turn that into a percentage of your total square footage of your home...then calculate that percentage of your home expenses ( rent/mortgage, electric and water costs)...you can find much more info at www.irs.gov search for "home office deduction" good luck!!

You know how you reverse release weights and this builds muscle, when you do slow consistent tai chi moves it build longer even muscles. Yang tai chi is one of the ways the Chinese have more mobility into the senior years and builds community friendships. Often the North Burnaby Asian community does Yang tai chi in the mornings in the open space the library has. Perfect form is almost impossible as long as your try your best.
