The plaintiff brings her cousin to court. She says she took in the defendant when she had nowhere to go, but now the defendant isn’t paying up. She’s suing for rent and phone bills. The defendant argues she already paid in full.

@@YACKYSNACKY my family members would allow other family members (who wanted to relocate to Texas)to live rent free for whatever time frame was agreed upon. Mine was 6 months. I saved ALL of my money so I could AFFORD to move out in 6 months. That way there's no excuse for me not being able to leave. If I had to pay her and husband rent that would be half of my lil ol check. I wouldn't be financially able to move out🤷🏽‍♀️. It was an excellent agreement and 4 of my cousins and I did this and we've been in Texas over 20 years living well. We're eternally grateful to them for the opportunity for a better life. This plaintiff IS a bit annoying so I can see why he got fed up. However, he got mad because she first said rent $ 200. She then said $300. I'm sure she was not a person used to dealing with court matter of any kind, let alone ones decided upon in 5 minutes of rushed testimony. His not recognizing that she had established a pattern with the defendant of paying $300 and that she was crediting $100 for the food stamps is unfair. This leads to immediate dismissal in his mind of the credibility of a person who is obviously nervous and trying in her, albeit clumsy, approach to presenting her position, is not very fair of him....Patience is a virtue and he does not have much many times.

@@LoveYAH7 never heard that story before. I believe that he has a temper (he's a fire sign...Aries), but I don't see him as being volatile towards his family. I don't think grown kids would agree to film so closely if they had a strained relationship. There's only so much putting on you can do for the cameras.

They are arguing and ultimately ended up going to court over money other people earned and payed in taxes. Technically it didn't come up in the case, but the plaintiff is almost certainly surviving off social security and/or other welfare... she knew exactly what the defendant needed to do when she was broke and homeless, inevitably because she been indoctrinated to think that if the government is just gonna hand it out, you'd be a sucker to not take it... and remain doomed to arguing over cigarettes and food stamps.
