There are so many people who know little to nothing about both building stuff in minecraft aswell as world history, you are doing a great job teaching people this stuff. It's vey inspiring hearing this while building stuff.

I love these talkin bout videos because it does more than just teach me how to build one structure, it helps me build nice buildings in general and what techniques to use when building. Another topic for the next video could be walls, gates, and roads into a town or city.

I've been creating a kingdom I like to call MoonAcre. Thanks to your tutorials, not only have I commandeered some of your designs (sorry :P) but your designs have also helped me come up with my own unique (oh look, the same word for a third time) designs. And regarding this Farmy-warmy video, I wanted to know whether or not I absolutely needed to add a water source, but thanks to your suggestions- I'm happy to know that I do not! :D (Though, my entire map is basically pooled with lakes and swamps and happy go lucky ponds) I'm fairly certain that I won't really have to worry about it too too much. Though I honestly just wanted to know. Anyway! I'm rambling.. Awesome. Go, me. Big thank you to you and your awesome possum designs and your good-enough-to-be-a-architect buildings and what-not. :D So with that, later gator. Looking forward to more Q&A (Cause I think you're bloody adorable) and I absolutely ADORE your sense of humour!! Haha! Big ol' shout out from snowy Canada! One of the Mates, ≈Rin≈

As a farmer in Florida, i can vouch for Crop Rotation, it's nice to see the amount of research that went into this build. And yes, we still use crop rotation today : )

My Farms in Minecraft for cities usually use Rivers, I design my towns to actually be practical as well as nice, so I find rivers and dig irrigation about 10 blocks out and 4 blocks apart and plant wheat etc, and build settlements near that, that was actually done

I don't understand how you could do something like this. It amazes me. Whenever I try to create a large build in Minecraft I give up after ten or so buildings.

Nice done! And I liked the 'background' really much^^ One addition to the water and the fields: If water is in range to a field, it woun't disappear, if nothing is planted on it. Otherwise the field will become a normal dirtblock after a short while ;) How about a 'broken house'? Just an old, destroyed building-ruin, left alone fora long time, so plants have grown in it, maybe even a fallen tower, which crashed the roof or sth. like that?

Madness since you are so enthusiastic about realism I think you should also change one of your fields to potatoes or carrots because crop rotation allowed the fields to regain certain nutrients while a different crop was grown because with only 1 fallow field each year one field has to go for 2 years without being fallow

Well i don't want to Ruin anything yet but this is a short summary: Het verhaal speelt zich af in Amorian.

Field rotation is still used in todays world and instead of leaving the fields to themself some even plant clovers (hope its spelled corectly), becouse of their roots abillity to bind nitrogen(as far as i remember) into the ground. You can make some scientific buildings too. The medival times had some good thinkers. for eksempel teories about the univers(was it geocentric or helicentric?). its just an idea.

No crop rotation was discorvered during the 4 age of medieval times. Or the golden age. There where 4 ages first age was like tribal times and nee technology. Second being the fedual age with knights and castles. Third being the dark age kinda a setting back age where tecnology was lost and their where plauges and lots of wars. Then the fourth age or the golden age where all of that was no more tecnology was being rediscovered and it was a for the most part peaceful time.
