I won’t forget that little excerpt of Clonegrim I read, where some Emperor’s Children marines recognized the purity of Clonegrim and knelt immediately with tears in their eyes… Clonegrim looks at each marine while explaining where and when he remembers them, what battlefield and planet they were on at the time, etc… and each of the Emperor’s Children just pledges unwavering loyalty to this revived aspect of their Father.. Fabius just seething and coping in the corner, but as insane as he is, a part of him loves and misses this version of his father (before trading him like he’s a free agent on a football team)

Yep. Fabius told himself that he was doing it because "he was seeing that same old arrogance in Clonegrim", but I believe that's, well, cope. I think the real reason Fabius gave Clonegrim to Trazyn was because Fabius realized that he won't be able to resist falling under Clonegrim's sway for much longer. He didn't want to relinquish control.

Remember Fabius clone not just Fulgrim but Ferrus, Angron, Horrus and etc. , he had hoped that by giving the traitor legion back its father that it would some how bring back the unity of the Heresy but he given up on that and now only place stock in his 'New man' whatever that is

@Iceisnice1 and you know what? That makes sense. Fabius had been disconnected from the EC for a millennia at this point, right? So many CSM monologues talk about how they miss the glories of bygone days, and the brotherhood that encompassed their entire being.. after 10,000+ years of hard drugs and new and illuminating sensations and sights that would break even the staunchest Brother-Captain, why wouldn’t any EC marine want to go back to how it was, when the enemy was simple and their purpose was clear?

I like that they contrasted the 30k design with this, he looks so withered and unwell, almost pathetic when contrasted with his previous design. i alsolike the tail more on this model than in the 30k one, more eal like, he looks like a true deamon of slanesh.

Abaddon would be like "finally that lazy priss is done with his 10k long orgy and helping out" lol Fulgrim already bent the knee to the Warmaster, and Slannesh would force him to serve. But! I have a tin foil hat theory about Fulgrim coming back and it's because of the sword in his right hand. That sword is none other than the Final Crone Sword that Yvraine and the Ynnari have been hunting down. which means Fulgrim stole it from Slannesh palace. The final Crone Sword in the hands of the Ynnari bring their God of the dead Ynnead to life and they can kill Slannesh. which is exactly what I think Fulgrim wants to happen. Daemon Primarch Fulgrim would definitely be the one that would want to ascend to Godhood. Ynnead kills Slannesh, but then Fulgrim comes outta no where and kills Ynnead and absorbs slannesh essence, then ascending as the new God of Excess.

After Thanksgiving my mother sets up a tiny nativity scene for Xmas, normally I set up a painted SoB, a SM captain, or usually something noble looking and say something to the effect of "Captain Kordalbo/Sister Minthrus wants to insure the blessed birth of Jesus goes down without a hitch." She loves painting (non warhammer) minis so concedes it. This year I put up not one, but several of my EC warband and cultists around my Contorted Epitome which doesn't look noble at all, when asked I said "The ritual must be completed" This Christmas was no revelation, for it was unveiled to me many moons ago in a drug-addled stupor in my hot tub while watching dubstep hentai AMVs that my Primarch Fulgrim would return to me, on Christmas Day, no less. So was simply preparing a place for him. The only ritual I performed was the ritual of gloating, praise Slaanesh.

I like seeing how he looks worse. Not worse as in an inferior design, but in character. The essence of who he is has become worse fermenting in the Eye of Terror, giving an explanation for the more corrupt appearance he has now in 40k, than 30k. A true fall. I'd love to see the Emperor's Children that meet Clonegrim seek redemption in the future and fight their father who soaked in the warp for 10k years.

They gave him the fifth Cronesword. There was no reason to do that after what happened to it in the ynnari trilogy for the Aeldari to not get involved. Its also slannesh so thats a given.

Leliths new book covered Yvraine and the Ynnari and that they're still searching for the last Crone Sword. Now that Fulgrim is back and has the last Crone Sword. We're gonna have some awesome lore coming in the future

I love the model , when seeing models my head immerses itself in the lore almost right away , thinking of Gulliman , the Lion , The Eldar , and to lead with Fulgrim makes me think it's just a taste of things to come .

Especially when you realize the last Crone Sword that Yvraine and the Ynnari have been looking for is in Fulgrims right hand. Lol Big things coming in the lore, I could see Fulgrim stealing the last Crone Sword from Slannesh palace. a weapon that could spell the end to Slannesh. Fulgrim is definitely the Daemon Primarch with the plan to overthrow his God and become the first Daemon Primarch to ascend to Godhood.

Its also double the price and fals appart when ypu look at him wrong, but hey, if you like it more spend away. I think the base is the same size so you could proxy it well if you get another pair of wings.

Something I’ve really yet to see anyone bring up, unless he breaks traditional basing in a pretty huge way he will be absolutely tiny compared to the other Greater Daemons and Daemonic Primarchs who all are on 100mm bases. If you scale the bases sizes and put him next to Magnus he could step clean over his head. Hopefully he is on the GUO’s 130mm base because then he scales much cleaner to the other Daemonic Primarchs. (For people who don’t know all GD and DP except the Bloodthirster and GUO are on 100mm with the BT on an Oval 90x120 and GUO on the monsterous 130mm)

He's a Daemon Primarch swelling with power, so his hair flowing upwards looks very fitting. Especially with how his pose is, he's rushing forwards, so his hair would flow backwards.

I prefer the 30k model however this one isn’t bad, I think if it had 30k fulgrims head, they got rid of that stretched skin on his body and they painted his armour purple this would be allot better.

Warhammer community already made known EC is going to get the same nod of attention the other 3 Chaos primarchs got with their forces throughout 2025. So expect an HQ refresh, probably Lucius, as well as at least one more infantry model that they are calling the Illuminate along with the Noise Marine upgrades they have already shown. So what Angron got, what the Lion got, ect, ect... It won't be much, but nothing for chaos ever is, and GW will get back to pumping out Primaris LTs for your army in no time and the world will keep turning.

The model has been growing on me, but it still lacks the "detail" and "excess" you would think after 10k years under Slaanesh's corruption. They could have made the wings obnoxious, added more detail to the armor and weapons. It hardly blows me away nor is it perfect. Unfortunately with my OCD this will just have to suffice and it will continue to grow on me. I think they made a big mistake by releasing the transfigured model a year before this one. Either way though they should never have done it to begin with. They really hype this up just to have it turn into a back and forth because they release that model. It was a mistake just like it was a mistake to even bring clonegrim into the lore.

It's a nice sculpt, but I'm not to fond of the pose as it doesn't really capture what Slaanesh actually means. I would of liked to see a more alluring type of pose, like a siren captivating its prey in for the kill. Also,a big gamble, but a female breasted chest plate to show Fulgrim transitioning into more of a he/she kind of role as the model itself looks very masculine, even with the slender serpentine body. 7/10

For me, this guy is firmly mediocre. Its really let down by it's head. And also the colour and design of the armour. The wings are pretty meh too. I do like the fleshy texture to the tail. I like the pose better than the FW one, he looks like he's about to lunge forward and strike the enemy. I like the peeled back skin, but I think the icon is too flat/poorly designed in CAD. It sits too flat into the flesh and looks inauthentic. I wish there were more weapon options. I would really have loved to have four blades to give this guy a more sharp and lethal vibe. Over all, I'm giving this mini a strong 6/10.

Meh. Big fulgrim/slaanesh fan and as always GW plays it safe with the things that have most potential. Making the Lion slightly older was far more creative than anything they did with Fulgrim/Angron.

They should have taken a leaf out of the cenobite designs from hellraiser imo, they are very Slaanesh, perversion twisted and warped into horrific grandeur. That’s what the 40k Fulgrim should have been.

@@wolvo5441 There are a couple good fanart of Ascended Fulgrim where he is more lithe and has translucent dragonfly wings or more animalistic ones where he looks kinda like a dragon. As is, it's kind of a basic Naga+wings design, most interesting parts are the Slaaneeshi flourishes.

They should of canned the eldar like 800000000 thousand years ago and replaced with like 4 random "exterminated" xenos. Eldar so boring they made a choas dog of boringness!
