The only areas that COST MORE & DO LESS are the PUBLIC SECTOR SERVICE WORKERS!😊
@Moodyblue-o9n3 сағат бұрын
Not true. Out of more than 50 years working - 10 years in the public sector, and 40-odd years in the private sector, I found the good , the bad and the ugly employed in both sectors.
@howardjones73702 сағат бұрын
@@Moodyblue-o9n: True, however, it has always been easier for private sector companies to dismiss the lazy and incompetent, because of the effect those not pulling their weight, ultimately have on quality and profits! In the public sector the same indolence and incompetence just gets shuffled around, others take up some of the slack, the best leave, and nothing improves, failure in the private sector means the company goes under, in the public sector they just grind on, and the people they serve, us, suffer!

In my 77 years on this planet I have always been worse off under a Liebour government as a working man. Nothing has changed as a pensioner. My only consolation is all the dumb people who voted Liebour are also going to be worse off. One thing I am sure of is Liebour will be in the political wilderness for at least 20 years after the next election.

I saw this one coming as soon as the election was announced, and Labour was predicted to win. I immediately renewed my fixed rate mortgage deal, knowing that things would only get worse under Labour. They think you can tax an economy into growth. Labour always try to increase overall tax revenues by taxing an existing economy more which stunts any growth then eventually shrinks the economy and actually brings in less overall tax revenues. The opposite of their actual starting aim. An economy doesn't work like that. You get more overall tax revenues by actually lowering taxes which encourages more economic growth. You then tax that economic growth that happens. A business which pays lower tax rates than before is likely to use that extra money to expand operations, hire more workers, invest in product development etc which grows the overall economy leading to those higher overall tax revenues in the long term. With Labour putting up taxes on everything, that is passed onto the consumer in price rises (inflation). To combat that increased inflation the BOE will soon start putting up interest rates. Then we will be in real trouble. Recession is coming.
