Dr. Ranaweera had a problem of not having certified organic soil & plant inputs for his contract organic farmers. He wanted to fortify the organic soil & plant inputs with locally isolated biofertilizer and biopesticides microorganisms to improve the soil food web. We were able to achieve this goal by toiling more than 2 years after establishing a microbiological laboratory at Naula. I am happy the project is now yielding good results.

Thank you so much for educating Sri Lankans. Could you please write these to sinhalese papers. Train some people as teachers to go to villages and educate them and ask them to join you. I am so proud of you letting university graduates their responsibilities in agriculture. Getting free education is not only to help themselves but help poor nation put them through the education. They can say we studied hard to enter the university but if they have to pay for the education can most of them afford? These children should understand they used taxpayer hard earned money. Theruwansarani! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 As long as people who involved in exporting fertilizer will never give up poisoning our soil. Have you heard about Mr. Thilak Kandegama. People are donating him lands to grow organic food.

All the best for Bio foods. I saw Supermarkets in Malaysia, they had separate section for organic products sale which are expensive and good demand.
