Hi ❤ If you only eat dal/chana in a meal without any grains, does that mean the protein from that dal shouldn’t be counted in total protein intake?

Yea that reduces some amino acids, but not necessarily a big problem as long as you ensure total protein for the day.

It's 2023. Are there people who still harp on keto? It was a fad in 2017-20. Even the famous youtube channels centred around keto are changing their positioning/content as fewer and fewer people search for keto anymore (now that everyone knows it is not doing anything magical).

I get acne or clogged pores by having regular cow's milk as i have PCOD somewhere i heard that it causes inflammation ... So in that case what should i do???

if you can get desi A2 COW'S milk, it is not going to cause a problem.

U have lactose intolerance don't drink milk.. For pcod just lose weight if u r obese..

Hi, I'm looking forward to lose weight and being a student I have sedentary lifestyle and just get time to walk for 45 mins that's it. So is it ok to have panner daily to meet my protein requirement? Everyone's telling me having panner daily will increase my weight and being a vegetarian I feel my protein requirement is not being fulfilled. Please suggest me something.

Brisk walk for 30 minutes and for 15 minutes do exercise. Anything you like suryananskar, zumba or pushup planks.

Try to include protein. It makes you full and you don’t crave much. I munch on protein bars, dark chocolate, makhanas, dry fruits.

IMO Keto can be difficult for someone who doesn't have a lot of weight to lose because the motivation is not there but for those of us who are insulin sensitive with fat to lose, it is not really wise for you as a nutritionist to say that KETO is not sustainable and trash. You're calling KETO trash probably because you never had a weight issue to begin with but I know of a lot of people including mysely who have had great weight loss results and energy levels on KETO. Sure, you're missing out on the carbs and all the tasty Indian meals but the rewards are great. I got back on carbs after a few months of being on KETO and never gained the weight back. My tolerance to carbs has now become better and my blood sugars have stabilized significantly. Sometimes, a particular diet can be a short term companion in your weight loss journey. I believe people should be free to choose whatever diet they wish to choose without being told that a particular diet is trash. I would have never been 10 Kgs down if it wasn't for the KETO diet I did a year ago. Every diet has a role to play if you do it correctly.

He is calling Keto trash because it is trash . This diet was invented because it was thought to control "epilepsy" in an age when drugs where not available to control it and it's not used for that purpose now either. Please study about the metabolic pathways of human body from genuine books to know why it's trash.

True, but most of my clients come to me with eating disorders trying the keto diet. Keto will help you lose weight, doesn't mean it is the ONLY WAY to lose weight. My clients lose weight super easily even without going off carbs.
