I stayed up for 2 days building my Blackfoot back in 1990. The old hexagon drive shafts lasted 10 minutes before getting stripped.

Funny how CRP plastic bones lasted longer than the stock metal. For those who couldnt afford a thorp or that universal kit that came tick later (forget name). -U10

It’s odd. I’ve got a vintage original that’s had a hot motor all it’s life and it’s never had a problem, despite lobbing it into reverse repeatedly 😁

AMPRO Engineering They would need to license the FORD name from FORD that's why. Not worth the expense.

This is exactly what I am doing to my 2016 Blackfoot (except for the AMP stuff). I already bought the MCI racing decals.

Thanks for the like! If you think you could use the Ford lettering (decals*) then send me a private message and I'll mail them to you. No charge. I won't be using them. As I say in the video, not quite as good as raised lettering -but you've got to have something on the tailgate and bonnet if you want to reproduce what was featured Ford branding back in '86. Good luck with your build! *as a footnote to other readers, MCI don't include Ford lettering as decals because of course it wasn't on the '86 decal sheet, it was raised plastic on the body.

manicstmn Are the decals still available? I'm restorating a true 86 Blackfoot and I'm replacing the body because it's scratched and cracked but I'm still gonna use the 86 stickers, it would be nice to use your decals for the front and rear.
