hi!! my moms a vet and her opinion is while raw hide is not always going to cause issues, it has the ability to cause majorrrr issues digestively. so she just doesn’t recommend them at all since there are so many things that are much better!

I've worked for the same grocery company for 9 years. I've worked in nearly every department, been a manager twice now, and when I transfered to my new store back in February, I had to take a $6 pay cut and take on 3 times the work since I'm a manager again. I loathe it all but feel absolutely stuck.

Take the time to look around or even look into some type of training or school. You should be working in a job you love considering the amount of time spent working. I went back to school at 38 and absolutely love my job now.

How funny!!! I wasn’t allowed to watch or even read Harry Potter either but my parents always made Halloween one of our major celebrated holidays 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ wild! This convo ya'll had about how your dogs and how what works for one doesn't for another - what was good for them yesterday isn't good for them today....etc This is a convo all Moms have regularly. No child is the same how you parent them is different, there is always changing what is okay and not okay for them. ARGH Us dog and kid mamas feel your pain. If you are referring to Himalayan yak chews, just know that you can soak the end of end(about an inch left) in warm water for 5 minutes, then microwave it for 45 seconds and they get their own Cheeto of sorts. My chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix loves them

If you feel as though your vet didn't go to school to learn health and nutrition and only knows how to patch them up I think you need to find a new vet who you can build a better rapport and trust with. As I'm now in my 7th year of higher education after high school, 3rd year in veterinary school I spend hours every day and into every night studying since we are expected to know the disease process for every disease in every animal species, how we diagnose it, how we treat it, how we can prevent it. It goes so much deeper than just learning how to patch them up and it's so disheartening how the general public views veterinarians sometimes and I hope that my generation of veterinarians can be a part of the change that needs to happen with our relationships with our clients and patients and prove to be much more trustworthy than we seem to be at this time. #NOMV
