@@varunbirpaul8136I test drove the car, no vibrations whatsoever, only on very high rpm there’s some engine grunt which is enjoyable only and less louder than brezza’s 1.5L engine, but there’s certainly some turbo lag at low speeds/rpm, once the turbo kicks-in its really good. Brezza’s engine is more responsive but not any quieter.

Excellent review. Nice improvement in design. I just wish they had given regular button at least for Hazard Lights and placed it somewhere more accessible. Also, where does the driver airbag go now with that glossy panel on the steering??

I'll have to say Tata Motors have hit the ball out of the park with this one. The only thing that is to see, and something that has been pointed out in this video also is for Tata to ensure that the electronics remain glitch free and the mechanicals remain niggle free.

Apple car play does have a glitch. If your phone is connected and if you are recording a video on same phone or even screen recording, the car play function just freezes.

I was very skeptical of the update, especially the front going purely by the renders released by ACI couple of weeks ago. It very much looked like the Hairdryer.. err.. Hyryder. But I have to say here it looks absolutely beautiful especially the purple shade! I am glad they fixed the rear tail lamps (the ugliest part of older Nexon IMHO). I was wondering if the rear would resemble the i20 hatch, but it doesn't, looks much better actually. Couple of things I wish Tata did different, cupholders (like you pointed out) are often used to store knickknacks and are very handy. The purple shade of interior looks quite good but not everyone driving it can pull it off I feel. The diesel should have had a TC atleast as an option if not instead of AMT. I have driven a few older examples of AMTs and I absolutely hated them, even the ones you guys rated to be good. I havent tried anything post 2018, I hope they are not as bad as they used to be. I am not a fan of capactive buttons. I use a WRV and i have accidentally triggered the rear defogger by mistake and It very much possible on this one too I think. Also, why on earth would you put hazard light as a capactive button, that too a tiny one? And the gloss black plastic will be a scratch pad within a few years if not months, especially the steering wheel one 🤦♂ What i love about the update is the new infotainment system, I've heard these are preproduction units (its displayed on the unit in some review units) and the glitches will be fixed before its delivered to customers, something Mahindra has failed to do with XUV and the N. I just hope Tata delivers on this promise. The maps on the speedo is a superb touch IMO. Its very convenient, but will it still display maps if the infotainment is on a different screen, say music? Correct me if i'm wrong, but arent regular turbo petrol more efficient than high compression TGDi ones especially in city? I hear most small capacity TGDi return single digit numbers like Venue. Though they perform better, I remember someone from MS (during RS launch) telling Hormazd that they are not as reliable and they require some maintenance or something like that, not sure if its true even today.

Sorry but you didn't keep that same energy when Hyryder copied Harrier's front. Yes, I have seen direct injection bs6 petrol E20 cars like venue and even thar has problems with little water contaminating the fuel in monsoon, it is a known fact, multipoint fuel injection can handle little water contaminants better than direct injection petrol cars.

The facelifted one that is yet to debut will be more closer to Hyryder than the original one I think. But yeah production model may vary. Yeah I think it was about contaminated fuel or something. I don't remember exactly but that is what was told to Hormazd by a MS official during RS launch/Reveal.

As per our understanding the foundation of the Curvv is the Nexon platform but we’ve yet to get a detailed understanding of how it changes to what Tata calls the Gen 2 platform

It is more of a mix between gen 1(alpha and X1)and gen3 (avinya). It will be designed in such a way that it can occupy more battery cells for enhanced range. Going forwards, EV is the main focus of TATA. We can expect a real world range of atleast 450km with Curvv.

There were little alignment issues with a few panels inside. The steering’s horn pad isn’t perfectly aligned with the mounted controls, and the glovebox was a little misaligned too.

Good review. If I’m gonna spend 15 to 16 lakhs, I would want an excellent interior build quality, fit n finish. I have no doubt on the exterior build quality ‘cos that’s alrdy proven. Couple of other channels pointed out few quality issues. Doesn’t put the car in good light. I wish u guys had touched upon those as well. After sales service is a another big worry for me. Heard the tata service engineers are not well behaved or trained! Please clarify on these things.

Nice facelift and good review. Not sure of the purple but nicer seats are welcome. Hate the stupid touch Ac interface, it’s just idiotic and less useful than buttons Also is the trick at 11:56 to turn pairing of the device and restart the system, or switch to radio or something. Or turn off headlights/ car ignition

Trust me, Creta base variant will never even half as fun to drive as Nexon is more powerful despite being smaller car of the two. But that's to do with Performance (both in engines, even ride and handling, feeling secured inside etc.) . There are other factors too where Creta will score. Rest is your choice.

I'm 6'2, and my head was touching when i was sitting at the rear.. and hairs were touching in the driver seat after adjustment. And there was no knee room at all for me in the rear after adjusting driver seat. Not recommended for persons with height more than 6 feet

There is a learning curve to it yes, but you do get a hang of these touch based systems with time. The touchscreen in question here was sorted save for the glitches we ran into. Yes, it shouldn’t be the case but glitches do occur especially with the initial lots that employ a new system. We pointed out the issues in detail to the team at Tata and hope to see it corrected, even if it is retroactively

Please do not buy any product from tata, It is a good vehicle for first few years, later you get to notice lot of problems with the cars. I have a nexon rode for just 27000 kms properly serviced. Now I see rust coming out from all the 4 door handles, the rust soon spread quickly, when taken it to a the service center, I got to see its a common issue with all nexon car. I see the a/c vent damaged after 4 years that too all the 4 parts, I see the gear knob material getting damaged. These are all parts which shouldn't get damaged for many years in other cars. I was a super fan of tata cars before owning this one . Now I will never buy a car from TATA nor I will suggest anyone. The support services are equally bad , there was not many reviews on nexon when I bought it 4 years back now with 4 years of experience I can say its not a good option for the money you spend.

You can say the rear end is inspired form the i20 but how shamelessly Hyundai copied the rear light design of tigun that's known as copy.

That’s our point, you will see similarities across models. These designs are decided years in advance. It’s just that sometimes one car comes out earlier and then everyone believes the car that followed copied it when in reality that design would’ve been locked years prior

Not an engine that you can push to extract more performance, the 2-3k rpm range is generally where you’d need to be but the engine has usable performance
