Taylor started with her "Lover" album because she didn't get to tour, her tour was canceled due to the pandemic. She is not doing them in order.

The concert itself is 3.5 hours long. She prepared for this tour by singing her entire setlist while running on the treadmill every day. She sings/dances/performs the entire concert, with very few breaks (just outfit changes), and sings 46 songs each night -- 44 songs on the setlist plus 2 acoustic songs that are different every night. She's a machine.

100% and most of this in 4inch heels!! - Even if people don't like her they have to respect her work ethic. She's incredible.

The reason why there is extra performances is because when the movie was played in the cinema, they had to cut some parts of the concert to make it shorter. When it came out to rent, they just added them after Karma which is the last song in the concert. And now that it came out on Disney +, you can watch the whole version in the right order, and also Cardigan 😃

Since you asked about her band, Yes, it is her band, and yes they are always playing live, and they are amazing musicians. She calles them "The Agency" and they are: AMOS - Base, has been with her since the beginning, before she even headlined a tour PAUL - Guitarr, since the beginning, same as Amos MIKE - Banjo, guitarr, keybord & vocals- since before her first tour "Fearless" , joined around 2008 David - Keybords, musical director since before her second tour "Speak Now", joined around 2010 Matt - Drums, since before her 3rd tour "Red", joined around 2012 Max - Guitarr, keyboards, since before her fourth tour Reputation Her backup vocalists, also called the "The starlights" . 3 of them (Kamilah, Melanie and Eliotte) have been with her since before "RED" tour too, joined around 2012. the fourth one (Jeslyn) joined before Rep tour.

-The woman she hired to choreograph the show (Mandy Moore who has did La La Land and judged many dance shows) said in an interview that she first showed Taylor the willow dance piece and Taylor cried and hired her. She is also the one that came up with the platform idea to showcase Taylor. This tour is obviously less intense and has more performances of her walking around alone and singing but I think it's necessary to preserve her energy to sing and dance for 3 and a half hours. The LED screen floor gives the fans who are up in the rafters such a unique and engaging experience. When she jumps into the "water" people have recorded their perspective and she jumps onto like a mattress. -The only time it is just her playing is during acoustic, every other time her long time band is playing, so that's why she can take some creativity to stop playing and add some performance flair lol During that song Long Live she wrote it about her band. -The electric guitar in Look What You Made Me Do made me love the song! Makes it 10X better -Every show she gives the hat to a fan during 22, in this case it is actually Kobe Bryant's daughter. He had such respect for her and he had brought his daughters to her show so it was a sweet choice. -The editing in between sets amps it up but the bases of it is shown. She really doesn't take more than a few minutes in between and will have something to entertain you during those few minutes like a poem, dancers doing a performance etc

there is a set eras tour playlist so we know the songs and the order of songs EXCEPT for the acoustic set. She plays 2 diferent surprise songs each time
@Reema-tz9ek9 ай бұрын
The transition so smooth and short They have like 1 min and 30s max between the eras but it never empty stage its the dancers starting or the band come playing at the stage and for some they have her audio starting the era with a little poem with dancers until she comes out Also for the hat she gave one fans a signed hat every show usually her mom or team chose she used to do it in 2012 with the red tour

She's friends with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Their daughters are James, Inez, and Betty, names she used in songs. Ryan is in "You Need to Calm Down" video. So maybe she will be in Deadpool!

In addition of being good friends, Blake also directed Taylor's video for "I Bet You Think About Me".

The girl that received the 22 hat was Kobe Bryant's youngest daughter, if you don't know who Kobe is, he was a famous basketball player, he died in a helicopter along with his 13 yr. old daughter and 7 others in January 2020. Kobe and Taylor knew each other. Taylor gives away one of her 22 hats (signed inside of it by her) to someone special each night. Taylor has a team called Taylor Nation, they keep their eyes and ears open and pick people who are deserving and have had a rough time. When the chosen ones are picked Taylor's security escorts them to that same spot every night. Unrelated, Taylor donates to every food bank in each place she tours, the spokesperson from the state of Florida told the local news that Taylor donated enough money to feed 125,000 people (I heard that was for 1 year).

The acoustic set started as two songs (one guitar, one piano) that she hasn’t played live before (so some from her latest albums she hasn’t toured with or were produced during & after the pandemic are obviously included), and she had a rule she would only repeat it if she’d messed it up. But she changed her rules, as Taylor does, and started doing mashups of songs too, so you’d end up with four songs. Very, very talented. I think you missed the point of the Eras. Each had its own costume & set design, and a nod to previous concert performances (if there had been a tour) but because they’re “Taylor’s Version”, she wouldn’t repeat exactly what’s been done. Midnights is her latest album (well, albums since there was multiple versions) and the next album is due in April (The Tortured Poets Department). Not sure where you got the Folklore cabin & Reputation mixed up since Folklore was done well after Reputation, during the pandemic. Long Live is a song on the Speak Now album. Taylor wrote backstage after a Fearless tour (yes, when she was really young) as she wanted to capture how she was feeling (grateful to her fans, and feeling loved but worried it would be the last time). The extra songs were IN the concert but were cut out of the theatre version of the movie to keep it to a standard theatre length. The new Disney version also has extra acoustic performances from the SoCal shows. And, yes, she plays & sings live. As does her band. Her backing vocalists don’t dance (as such). Her band & backing vocalists have been with her for almost her whole career (some have been since the beginning) which says a lot about her (and them) in an industry that often doesn’t have that reputation. I adore her diverse cast. I hope we get a behind-the-scenes documentary movie once the tour ends.

She’s not saying “I’d be the man” like she’d be more successful as a man. She’s referring to how the media depicts her as conniving, shady, sl*t shames her etc. and she’s saying if she was a man people would either not care about her dating life/the money she makes or they would look up to her for it/praise her for it. obviously this is a generalization but i see a lot of truth in her point. Especially is rap music culture/industry, men bragging about women/money is normalized and ok where as Taylor gets shamed for just existing/living life. That’s my take anyway

Fun fact, the Lover setlist does not in fact cause everyone to stand up because everyone already is standing. For 3.5 hours we were all standing non-stop. If you sat you simply could not see 😂 Also the extra songs were played every night with the exception of Long Live that was added to the set list later into the shows. they were cut from the theatre version to cut down time and it caused an uproar unsurprisingly. Long live was a song she wrote about her band and how she hopes they really make it big together, but if it all falls apart, she hopes they share the memories forever. She said once in a show to the crowd that “this is a song that for me now, will always be about you” because they made it, the crowd does go wild and so often you hear the “if you have children someday, when they point to the pictures, please tell them my name” lyrics play as parents take their kiddos to her shows. It has really transformed the song now that she has such a huge career and a dedicated fan base.

54:50 I can tell you are not watching the Disney+ version because these songs were woven back into the main performance. The songs were originally cut because it was being shown in movie theaters and it was too long. For the streaming they put them in at the end. For the Disney one they included more “surprise” acoustic songs at the end like this
