Is Affli good for 2s and 3s in tbc? I don't really like the SL/SL build and Destro is gonna be a pain in the ass trying to cast something. I'm having fun as affli in wpvp but really curious about arenas.

So seems that there is blue level 70 weps with resiance, is that 9 resil from them worth losing 6-7 dps on the wep compared to the rep weapons you can get in outlands? (High Warlord's Heavy Crossbow vs. Marksman's bow)

At some point you mention that your weapon (prior to the arena one) comes from exalted rep. Which faction are you referring to that we need to get exalted with so we get that weapon?

Great guide especially for PvP beginners. The "cheap" gear avail from the sets of reputation require Revered level not Honoured. Not quite so easy but still very doable for most level 70's. These 5 pieces plus your 2 trinkets make for a good starter set. If your short on rep, get at least 2 pieces for the nice set bonus. If you can't get 2, get to dungeoning ASAP.

I can't speak for this version of TBC, but I can tell you that in the original all I did was pvp. I dont think I ever raided until the very last right before wrath. So it is definitely possible to pvp only without running dungeons or raids. I didnt even do much arena back then but farmed honor and marks and as the seasons went on they released previous season gear to buy.

This guide's wrong on blue Dreadweave PvP gear. You need to be Revered with these factions, not Honoured. Check Wowhead.

Yeah they nerfed it!! It has always been honored even in the old days. But they nerfed it into the ground like they have nerfed everything else. Tbc now is 10 times more of a grind then it was back in 2006.
