Thanks 👍.. Not that i was complaining over the loudness, i would have been dissapointed if it was any quieter 😁. But yeah, once its had some gas through it , it should find its tone. Surprisingly, the cobras i had were a fantastic set of mufflers. Just wanted cleaner lines to rear of bike. And they sold today within an hour 🙄

Just go down to your local NAPA and buy some cherry bomb glasspacks. They are pretty much the same thing and they are cheaper.

I had a Vance and Hines stainless 2-1 unsweep (you can check it out on my channel), fast forward to now, the bike has been fixed for months but I haven't been able to get an exhaust ANYWHERE. I found a place in British Columbia and got a Two Brothers Comp-S Gen 2 Stainless 2-1 shipped to my door for $944 CDN which is like $700 USD. I found it at a place called Konquer Motorcycles. Give them a shout if you haven't found a pipe yet, they may have one!

Some have said the pipes may scrap in low turns. Have you noticed that?

Ive had a lot of people ask that, but never scraped yet, always scraping pegs. I think you are fine with 11/ 11.5 rear shocks but risk it with 10's 👍

Can you compare the sound with Vance & Hines Shortshots? Is it louder? Is it deeper? I don't like short shots sound it's horrible..

Compared to short shots.. there is no comparison 👍.. 2 into 1 gives a deeper tone and better for power delivery. The TBR gives a softer sound until you crank it then comes to life. If you want something well made and different to the shots fans.. This ticks the boxes 10k miles and still looks new 👍

Make sure all of old gaskets are out, pop in new, tighten each header bolt a bit at a time so it pulls in even until tight 👍. Thats about it mate. Once installed, run and recheck bolts after engine hot, and periodically 2 or 3 times after running over a week or so when all settled in 👍. Cheers, and enjoy

As far as I am aware, the fitment is specific for standard forward controls as fitted from factory.

When you open it up yes. Tone is nice .. cobra slip ons were a nice deep tone but these rip when opened up. Hard to get a true sound from camera. 👍

Cobras on before. Nice deep tone but the tbr rips when opened up. Been on the bike a while now and still look new 👍

How’s the exhaust holding up? Power etc?

Best exhaust Ive bought. It seems to have settled down well now, power is noticeable over 2-2 systems and torque through mid range is 100% . As with most mods, if its set up right it gets the rewards, but took some doing with the maps to get that. I will be doing some more on the mapping hopefully soon 👍

Without dyno figures i wouldnt know, but there is a few dyno comparison charts online , tbh, probably only couple of horses in it although torque curves can be massively different 👍

what did you do with the back part of the OEM bracket for the dual exhaust ? Just take a cut off wheel to the part of the bracket by the swingarm ?

If were on the right lines, the back part of bracket stays on the bike, tbr bracket is made to utilise that to clamp the silencer . No part is cut off. 👍

ALCHEMOTO I looked into some pictures and I saw that TBR includes a bracket and you pull off the OEM one with 3 bolts behind the belt guard

@@vespem8336 that is correct. You unbolt what is not needed,and just use the oem bracket with adapter. It is a neat simple install, no cutting involved, they also supply a good step by step install guide. 👍

@@ALCHEMOTO So just for reference, on my 2009 nightster 1200, you pull of the ENTIRE OEM bracket and they supply a whole new one that bolts in underneath the belt drive guard. have to remove brake arm control and the guard to do so. =)

Yes mate, standard forwards. The tbr is a perfect fit. You just need to see what model bike against part number which will tell you if compatible. A few like one of cobra 2-1 and vance upsweep dont fit forwards but these are specifically designed for 2016 48 with forwards. 👍

@@ALCHEMOTO the vance and Hines 2-1 stainless upsweep does fit with forward controls, I ran it on my 48 until my accident in November. I just got a TBR stainless comp s gen 2 two to one, but I will miss the v&h stainless upsweep. It was an amazing exhaust, if I like the TBR gen 2 half as much as I liked my v&h stainless 2-1 I will be extremely happy. I ran it with forward controls, then swapped to mids. They supply a small bracket that fits between the forward controls and the frame to bring them out 1/4 inch or so to clear the pipes.

Do mean 'slow at first' ?. And do you mean overfuelling, by missing when using throttle. Are you running freeflow air filter?. Have you tuned bike with screamin eagle tuner/fp3 or other?. Is it leaking at the headers
