You make some great points in this video. Do you think that Samsung will eventually go the Google Pixel route and offer it's customers a Pro line series? The current S24FE has a 6.7" display, will Samsung get rid of its plus models and replace it with the FE series of phones. Time will tell. As always, keep up the great work. I would prefer high-end compact phones over a slim phone. Sometimes the screens for the best performing phones are too big. It's nice to have a smaller phone with the best performance.

Yeah people think iPhones are these flawless phones but having used the iPhone 15 pro max then the iPhone 16 pro for this past year, I’ve had more buggy experiences than I’ve had when using Samsung for many years. The bugs I’ve experienced are mostly with the camera app, Apple Music, KZbin, and closing apps freezing the screen.

Great content. 2 things. S25 slim doesn't need a lot more titanium. It will need a higher grade titanium. Does it really matter if a phone is slim 🤔 most people paying 1,300 or more for a phone should have it in a case. So there goes the slimmest. Even if it has a slim case, it should be the same size as a normal s25 ultra naked. 😮

When companies made phones with removable batteries, everything was perfect. You could have a slim phone and not have to worry about battery life if you had another battery fully charged and ready to go. Half of what is in these modern devices is unnecessary anyway. We're getting far away from what a phone was initially invented for.

All due respect tech Odyssey I don't think you can make the argument that batteries need to be smaller or less milliamp hours or less fast charging to be lighter. Look at the Xiaomi 15 pro. It's almost the same size as the s25 Ultra yet I want to say it's 25 g lighter and has a 6,100 milliamp hour battery with 90 watt fast charging

With the new Elite chip we potentially get much better battery life with no increase or even a decrease. The Thin has my attention. When you mention heat, what is the general use case for someone who would buy it? Phones are getting too heavy and too thick IMO. I am currently using a 9 Pro Fold. I am not using it as a video camera. Think use case. The buyer of a Thin may not be a videographer.

It's funny that you say that about the iPhone because I had the iPhone 11 pro and that was the exact reason that was the last straw for why I got rid of it. I was trying to record a family event and the entire thing was gone almost word for word situation you had. And that was the final straw that made me be like f iPhone lol And I've used Samsung since then and have never had that problem

I'm excited for it. As long as the battery lasts as long as the s24u at the very least, I'm good. I'm sick and tired of having big heavy bricks of a phone. Hate how ultra phones have gotten wider since the s22 ultra. IMO Sony did the big phone design right by making it taller and slimmer instead. Most tech specs like CPU and RAM are meaningless numbers nowadays. It's all about design, build quality and in hand feel for me as I also don't use a case.

Snapdragon Elite is a hot mess. Making a slim phone to make it run hotter and shorten battery life is not a good idea. I would rather use a thicker S25 Ultra to improve cooling and have a bigger battery than a slim version. 😊

Yes please create a manageable one-handed size phone with pro features and a battery that lasts at least a week on a single charge. Preferably one which includes an overall battery life of 5-10 years. Then if you want to make thinner device or introduce gimmicky camera buttons be my guest. However be forewarned if you ever consider creating another revenue stream by adding a subscription fees for Ai features. Think again because it will be the last device I buy from you. Hoping the slim is an S25 ultra with out the spen, all the bells and whistles, slightly smaller, no spen. The iPhone 16 pro max and especially the pixel 9 pro xl are so much better to hold and use with one hand. The extra space for the spen is what makes the ultra bigger.

They are all going for the “slim” marketing bc the only innovating thing on mobile tech market right now is credit-card sized batteries that are 10000mAh. That’s why they will give you 1 camera, shit specs and $1200 price tag - “for people that don’t care about specs, but want a longer battery life” or something along the line. That’s going to their only unique selling point. And then, when it’s going to be time to release new flagships, they will feature slim body, longer battery and Ultra specs, for even higher price tag.
