GREAT JOB JOHN. I know first hand that you have either taught your children this skill or else they have a natural ability and charisma. It has been my experience that anyone who meets Johnni especially is instantly a fan! I've only met Bo twice and Cal once I think, but they are all easy to build rapport with. Somebody has done a great job...GREAT KIDS!!

Really appreciated the conversation with you and Gary today John. Thanks so much for sharing your talk with me. In all my years of focusing on relationships, I've never heard the FORD process described. This will be really powerful as we move forward because it will allow me to be even more intentional in both building and facilitating relationships. Thanks again! Ability to build instant rapport with others is the most important and coveted ability. Every single one has a sign above their heads that says "make me feel important".Happiest people is the one with the most meaningful relationships. People don't listen with the intent of understanding, people listen with the intent of replying. If we want to make a connection our goal must on having the other person leave feeling better for having interacted with us by putting the majority of the focus on them when we are not anxious to tell our story and we could be present with someone thats when the magic happens. The greatest gift you can give anyone is the gift of your attention FORD Family Occupation Recreation Dreams ALWAYS GIVE MORE in every relationship

What if people don't feel comfortable talking about their occupation. I don't like asking people about their job because this is a very shallow way to put people in boxes and label them. We have to be more imaginative than that.
