As an advocate for body positivity, self-love, and mental health, Jasmine frequently shares her own struggles and her ongoing experience learning to embrace herself. Her relatable and authentic approach to her content and her community has helped her accumulate a sizable following on various social media platforms-like KZbin, Instagram, and TikTok-while staying true to herself and her interests. I wished she would’ve expanded on Michelle Yeoh being the first person who IDENTIFIES as Asian because there has been an asian woman who has won an award before, but could not reveal or mention their Asian identity in order to fit in to the white standard (which goes back to the algorithm and assimilating and representation in media).
