In the video you are using brushes on a hard floor, I thought brushes are only for carpets? scrub pads for hard floors, I use brushes on carpets and even if they touch hard floor it strips wax away. I also have a question for very dirty commercial carpets, what is the best cleaning solution you know for cleaning them, I use scrubber with brushes to soak and scrub first, with HOT water, and then extractor afterwards with hot water and carpet shampoo. Is this the best way?

Hey Dan, great question! In INDUSTRIAL applications, scrub brushes work best on hard "concrete" floors that have no coating on them. In the video, the operator is using a 5680 at the Tennant training center which is a concrete floor with a Tennant Epoxy topped with Urethane. On those floors, a brush or pads will work. Your question seems posed to more COMMERCIAL floors and carpets, and in that case, scrub pads are the most popular on these types of floors (tile, terrazzo, sheet goods, etc). Operators and supervisors in these "institutional" applications (schools, hospitals, and convention centers) generally will use pad drivers and a variety of different "grit" scrub pads. There really is no right or wrong but rather what the end user is most comfortable with. As for the cleaning of carpets, the methodology you stated seems proper and thorough. Regarding your question about a carpet shampoo, we recommend something low foaming and fast-acting. If you require any further assistance, please don't hesitate to email us at 'sales@southeasternequipment.net'. Thank you!

I'm using this machine and it works great. My issue is when i put it into "heavy scrub" mode, it has a terrible time moving. Almost as if it's not getting any traction.
@SoutheasternEquipmentSupplyInc2 жыл бұрын
Poor propelling traction could be the result of uneven brush down pressure. Try levelling the scrub head. If that does not work, email us at

You either have to much pressure from the actuator pressing on the deck or worn out tires.

Hello, i need a quick help for our power scrubber. The hose from the dirty tank it wont go out the dirty water something clug up inside the dirty tank? Looking forward some tips how to clean...thank you.
@grady0067 жыл бұрын
We can do our best to help you with that. The best option is to take a garden hose with the water about half way on and run into the tank near the discharge from both directions. If that is unsuccessful, take the discharge hose off and check for clogs. Feel free to call at anytime for more troubleshooting help 800-440-6723.

What happens when the scrubber motors stay on and the key is off
@SoutheasternEquipmentSupplyInc6 жыл бұрын
Robert, thanks for your question! The cause is normally when the solenoid for the brushes is bad and is stuck in the on position. The immediate fix for this issue would be to replace the solenoid. If you are interested in replacing this part, we have here: www.southeasternequipment.net/product-p/tn45405.htm

@@SoutheasternEquipmentSupplyInc "filling the solution tank with water 25 mm (1 in) below the bottom of the solution fill opening channel." Manual says this. Unsure what the fill opening channel is or what the volume of water inside will be to measure soap.
