Sinner is almost unbeatable on HC right now. Completely deserved no.1 spot. Incredible how consistent he has been, 6 titles so far this season and it is not over yet. Indoors he is a beast as we could have seen last year

Probably he’s the most focused and determined player on court right now. People may want some show man there so they say he’s boring and everything but they don’t understand the hard work he’s putting into everything and this guy is only 23. The fact he didn’t go against the ones that attacked him says a lot about his maturity and mindset. He’s there to play tennis not to make a show 🤷‍♀️ I’m so happy he’s representing my country. We were so used to have idiots in our sports that it feels so weird to have somebody like him at that age

Bravissima, esatto. Sono rimasto basito dalla sua calma nel rispondere all’odio. Io potrei essere suo padre, ma in quanto a scleri non sono assolutamente maturo come lui. In effetti di testa Sinner potrebbe essere mio nonno.

At first i worried for sinner since his semi final he took a fall and it seemed worrying for his left wrist. But there seemed to be no leftover injury in the final against Fritz. He played solid.

Alcaraz and Djokovic probably the only guys who can beat Sinner on hardcourts, yet they both lost out early. Sinner’s on top of his game right now haha.

Tiafoe was such a disappointment in that semifinal match against Fritz. He had Fritz on the ropes and just needed to finish the match. I have been rooting for this guy to finally breakthrough in a major for so long but it seems he just doesn't want it bad enough. Running out of gas in the 5th set of a US Open Semifinal match under the lights is a pathetic excuse. I am reminded of Sampras cramping and vomiting during the waning moments of his 1996 US Open Quarterfinal match against Corretja, but he somehow managed to overcome his illness and win the match.

@rickrivers2021

@@lotus630Tiafoe is like the opposite of Bublik and Kyrgios. Bublik and Kyrgios became professional tennis players bc their parents pushed them to do it, and have fallen out of love of the sport (Kyrgios) or at least the competative aspect (Bublik). Tiafoe's parents almost wouldn't let him go pro. Whereas Kyrgios and Bublik get criticized for not being ambitious enough Tiafoe usually gets criticized for being *too* amitious. Guy reaches the quarters/semis at the Open three years in a row and each time comes away frusterated and feels he could've and should've gone farther.

Rune in my opinion is someone who will not reach his full potential. i say this because he is too much like a child and he thinks he’s better than everyone. if you look back a bit ago he compared himself to alcaraz and sinner calling them the “new big 3” rune has not won many high level matches in my opinion, and he has not even touched a slam or gotten close. he is miles behind sinner and alcaraz and i don’t believe he will make it to “the new big 3”

I think that a way to prevent late finishes is reducing average match duration. In my opinion, they should remove the deuce rule, and end the game in the next point with 40/40 (as seen in the Next Gen ATP finals). Instead of this potentially infinite give and take, just transform the 40/40 point into a high stakes moment in every game. I think this will change the pace of matches and also will alleviate tournament schedules (while probably reducing the overall incidence of injuries).

The comments out there about Pegula and Navarro are completely unfair. Imagine hating on a young tennis player because her parents are wealthy. As if either had anything to do with their parents’ wealth creation or that they get a free ride somehow. If anything, they both have to work even harder to prove they’re worthy amidst all the doubt and unfair speculation. Quite the contrary, they are gracious, mature, focused, and highly professional in their comportment and set a good example to others.
