The only problem with your ship speed calculation is that you're not accounting the sped up time in-game. You'd need to record how long it takes for a day to pass on Earth in Destiny and divide 24 hours by that number to figure in the amount of sped up time.

"The only problem"... no, there's a lot more than that. Like I said, it's not taking into account a ton of different variables; like the fact that your ship has mass and light doesn't, or the distance Earth and Saturn are from one another depending on their rotation around the Sun, or the fact that no matter where you're traveling even if it's closer than Earth to Saturn that the load time remains the same average of 50 seconds because it has nothing to actually do with travel time and 100% to do with processing power. It's riddled with inconsistencies or unaccounted for variables. It's just a jumping off point to start an interesting conversation or idea.

No I don't think so. I had to watch the clip a few times because it definitely looks like it could be the Twilight Garrison. But just at the end, right before the close-up clip ends, you can see a little wing coming off the shoulder of the Titan. This wing off the shoulder is a trait of Titan armor from the early days of Destiny. You can actually see me wearing Titan chest armor with the wing off the shoulder at 5:25 in the video. That clip of me fighting the Walker Tank is really old footage. I think the armor in the clip of the moving bubble is that since it's pre-release footage.

7:15 While it's just a loading screen, you're not taking into account Time Dilation when traveling at high speeds. Basically, the faster you go, the slower your time ticks, I.E. 1 minute to you could be 1 hour to someone on earth. Time dilation is why the speed of light can never be reached; you would need to accelerate infinitely.

The NLS drives for the ships in Destiny are a variation of the Alcubierre Warp Engine. The ship itself isn't traveling faster than the speed of light, they are surfing on a wave of of spacetime behind the craft that is expanding faster than the speed of light. The travel times in Destiny are allowed by the laws of physics.

The reason that the ships travel so fast is because they warp through time, considering you are a destiny channel I would assume you have done the restoration mission, where you obtain a warp drive after killing a priest that comes out of the wall

The ships use a warp drive, which bend space around them, and do not violate the laws of physics at all. You can warp as fast as you like and not break physics because you're not actually moving. the space around you, is.

Actually if the ships were following real physics it would take WAY longer for them to travel to Saturn. Remember that light has no mass and THATS why it travels as fast as it does, if the ships followed real physics they wouldn't even be able to travel close to the speed of light.
