Well have NASCAR own the cars and repair them. Then it's there responsibility to build up drivers for the seats to fill. So NASCAR would own everything and pay everyone to build the engines and fix wrecked cars. Simple go back to regular factory car chassis and build the cage inside the bodies. So all the similar 1.5 mile tri-oval tracks would vary a little, but yes, it would be extremely expensive these days to build a new track! What kills me about a lot of fans, that just want them to build another track close to them, but have no concept of the costs for licensing, land acquisition, logistics for highways, accommodations, etc! They build or reopen another track, another track will lose a race! Texas lost their fall race a couple years ago!
