Late2017-early18 was when we had a big news cycle about Nobuhiro Watsuki, but it was 2002 that Mitsutoshi Shimabukoro was arrested violating for child prostitution laws, and not many people knew who he was until near the end of Toriko in 2016 (and as you said, not many people even care about Toriko or know manga author's name)

Still could have make sure, if that was really a worry for him, and the fact that he didn't makes it clear that even if he was lied to, he didn't care that much about it until he was caught.

Not only does he have the physical strength to hold 2 rocket launchers, his accuracy with firearms rivals trained professionals. He can shoot you 30 meters away with his .44 Magnum Pistol without hitting any of your vital organs, can accurately shoot you in pitch black darkness just by using the flickers of the bullets, can shoot an entire chamber of bullets and have all of them go through one entry point, etc. He can also take a shit ton of physical punishment, and can literally outrun bullets.

At a distance of less than 15 meters, it's pretty easy to hit a target of that size, even if you only know a small bit about what you're doing. If you go out farther, up 25 meters, it starts getting a little harder. But even just looking at basic shot groups for the 25m distance, it's still comparatively easy. Most people with a decent bit of training would be able to hit a barrel-sized target, although probably not on the first shot. Going up to 50 meters, *that* is where it actually gets hard. The average person would not hit that target at 50m. However, well-trained athletes do consistently hit inside of a fist-sized radius around the perfect center, so every now and then a shot would hit the barrel at that range. Anything farther out than 60m with a handgun, yeah, that's unfeasible. At that point it's almost entirely luck. Of course, with a rifle it's different, but Ryo in the example uses a pretty standard handgun.

Toriko is actually a pretty insane manga with hype moments and well executed characters. The last arc was rushed but it has 1 of the best endings I have read for a shonen manga. Sad thing is, the anime was trash and it being made by Toei did not help as the series has tons of gore and blood. Like people die messed up ways and are even EATEN. Give the manga a try.

Jump Force really isn’t that bad when it comes to playing online if I’m being honest .Yeah it takes some getting used to the toxic players but because so many people left the community due to not wanting to actually practice a bit more and play the game longer to learn the reaction times and how to use the mechanics to your advantage, a lot of the remaining player base decides to play fairly. You also get to pull off some amazing looking combos and fights from perfect dodging attacks so you could punish your opponent to switching characters while applying pressure with an ability to changing the arena to either force a character switch from your spamming opponent or take away their awakening meter the game has so much potential and cool things you can do it bums me out hearing people say they hate the game because you can’t change your team immediately after facing a friend or because you got spammed and decided not to practice how to outsmart cheesers but that’s just an opinion you know

I feel like for every step the Jump Force roster took, it took 2 steps back. We did get interesting and well deserved chars like Deku, Yugi Moto, Asta, but we also lost out on other interesting or popular chars from J-stars like Gintoki, Tsuna, and Medaka. I also feel that the Jump Force roster has a lot of filler picks in the roster, since the Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Pice trilogy take up nearly half the roster, while other series like YuGiOh, Jojo, and Black Clover have barely as many reps as the bigger series

I think the reason of the artstyle for J-Stars and Jump Force with that plastic look is because if they use cell-shading they have to respect the way every characters is shaded by each mangaka and the same if they use their anime counterpart. Just to give a sample, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm cell-shading, which is based on how the anime is shaded, looks completely different to the one developers used wtih Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Eyes of Heaven and another sample is with J-Stars 2D sprites and how different look Kenshiro and Raoh to the other characters,

My issue with jump force is that it's a tag team fighter but the team share the same health bar seriously why even make them teams at all it would make more sense to just have them be solo fighters instead

Couple of small gripes I have with Ultimate Stars is that they didn't give Gohan a 6 Koma Panel where he could've been his older self (Goku and Vegeta have 7/8 panel Komas turning them into Vegito, it could've worked), and no playable Ren from Shaman King.

Honestly, I kinda like J-Stars, especially since it has one of my favorite series like Medaka Box. That's the closest to MB-game I'll ever get to touch. All in all, I'll take J-Stars over Jump Force any day.

Lowkey I can't believe they included Dai from Dragon Quest: Dai's Big Adventure, a literal Dragon Quest fanfiction (no shade, I'm sure it's good) but not Beet the Vandel Buster which yes is a dumb manga but at least it's being currently serialized, and like. Come on! And likewise I can't believe they included Light Yagami as a story character from an anime that came out in 2006 but didn't include Allen Walker as a fighter from an anime that also came out in 2006 and got a sequel in like 2014. We got like 6 characters each for Naruto, DBZ, and One Piece but zero for a ton of classics. I know I'm the only one who gives a shit about these anime, okay, I know. But where's the love for some of these older Jump characters? *sobs* ...As a HunterxHunter fan, however, I am not complaining about the fact that they shelled out as many characters for that series as they did for the big three. A pleasant surprise that they acknowledged HxH's greatness even though the anime ended in 2014. Side note, am I the only one who wants them to make a Jump fighting game that actually includes non-fighting characters as fighters? I mean, who cares if it makes sense? These games are dumb fan fodder anyway. I want to play as Shoyo Hinata and just smack volleyballs down on everyone to win.

Battle stadium was one of my favorites on the ps2, and a friend of mine played so much he could do all the survival missions without understanding japanese (he just recognized the pattern of the kanjis, bear in mind this was before any of us had internet acces, so it was just trial and error until he figured them all out)

Jump Ultimate Stars. I feel Bash was bashing it unfairly-he had to deal with playing the game on an emulator, which would inevitably ruin the experience. Then again, I played with an actual ds with my brothers; so my nostalgia could be getting in the way. Regardless, the game has much more depth than Bash was willing to let on-or had the opportunity to experience

Jump Super Stars/Jump Ultimate Stars are legitimately good games. Like, really good. There's Super Heroine Chronicle, which is basically just Super Robot Wars with magical girls instead of mechs. There's Miracle Girls Festival, which is a Project Diva style game (same engine even) featuring characters from Yuru Yuri, Kiniro Mosaic, Is the Order a Rabbit, Engaged to the Unidentified and tons of other slice of life/moe shows. Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a great fighting game with characters from Sword Art Online, A Certain Magical Index, Oreimo, Toradora, Durarara, Boogiepop, Kino's Journey, Spice and Wolf, Shakugan no Shana, the list really does go on for quite a while. Nitroplus Blasterz is also a decent fighting game with tons of anime crossovers. Fate Stay Night, Super Sonico, Senran Kagura, Saya no Uta, Psycho-Pass and tons of other series that I don't recognize. Aquapazza. Another fighter in the vain of Dengeki Bunko and Nitroplus Blasterz. Has characters from Urawarerumono, Comic Party, Tears to Tiara and To Heart. Pretty niche properties but regardless of whether you recognize the characters, the game is good. And Tatsunoko vs Capcom, which is a forgotten Versus Capcom game. Definitely a great fighting game, it has characters from Gatchaman, Yatterman, Casshan, and Karas fighting characters from Street Fighter, Mega Man, Darkstalkers, etc. I'm like 100% sure there's more than this, but these are all that I've personally played and can vouch for.

Jump Super/Ultimate Stars was my jam back in college, got me into the import scene and I had a blast with my friends playing for hours. I agree it was basically a high point for Shonen Jump games but I've picked up most of the other titles on this list on sale and while they're all average it definitely embraces the fan service you expect.
