Rather than extending the hood why not just extend the stable nose piece rearward to meet the hood. That would take care of the center trim piece, you wouldn't have to do much of anything to that hood. I dig it.

Instead of adding to the hood, add to the grill shell, to help keep the balance of the awesome hood trim between the gaps, it also gives you an eazy reason to slant the grill to the perfect silhouette you're after. But what ever you do , it's turning out to be a nice ride. Really diggin' it

Comments here... 1. your front grill fabrication should be adjusted the way you want and blend in to the hood while you can leave the hood doors right where they're at. 2. calling all the name parts on your car = Exactly like I said on a few episodes ago "Franken-Coupe" Hot Rod. 3. Cool find and fab on your seats, I bet your lady will love it. 4. your gas tank subject... please make sure you put something shield protector for your gas tank due to how low ride your going.

I agree with the folks suggesting extending the grille shell back as long as you can make a flip door to fill the rad, or better yet, extend the filler pipe on the rad rearward off the tank like on my 35 Chev master coupe rad .And, I have a chrome centre hood strip here I removed from a similar Mopar hood some years ago I,ll donate that you could cut to fit. Vavavoom delivery included ! Hey, time is flyin" and we gotta help.

Brother you were all over the place in this one, I mean you were flying through stuff left and fight. I would raise the tank just for peace of mind, you never know when you gonna get stuck on a 2" gravel road detour and have a problem. I would make it bigger also, you still can stop and take breaks and stretch but I have bin on some of those roads in Canada and they are long, and the little village gas station was closed, verily made it the next one. Just looking out for you, that's all. Now the car looks awesome, that front end on there reminds me of the old gangster movies I watched growing up. That frame looks so good, and the floor 1"X1" with the thick metal, it's going to be so strongly built. Take care my friend
