NB Non building, meaning you can spray it in one coat or 50 and it wont slide off like a high build primer. HB would be a Sandable filler primer. They make another primer for ABS as well, one of the only ones I have seen. I cant begin to imagine how bad that stuff has to be for you, ABS usually wont take any paint.

Basic colors come in the larger bottles. Metallic colors come in the smaller. Likely because you really dont use them nearly as much as a primary non-metallic color. I've been very happy with them, it's all I've been using lately with the addition of some of your enamels. Haven't had any issues with their included beads and the mixer. Prethinned paints are real nice when you just want to paint and get stuff done.

For Christmas I bought myself a perfect grade Gundam then I start buying my local 1/144 size gundams I didn't care much what grade they were I just was enjoying building them and had the ability to put them on the shelf. There's big ones take up so much room I had no idea that they cost so much and then it came to wanting to spray it and paint it I got basically overwhelmed and I searched the internet and KZbin and I find you channel to be educational on how to do things. I was going to go down the road of enamel painting and set up for of a spray booth play the cost in dealing with those chemicals and finding specific brand is well harder in America. I'm experimenting with paint markers that I found from online hobby mio.. I think that'll be my route because the enamel painting booth and everything is just too much and I'm not situated to deal with that kind of setup I am very envy of you you have educated me so much on your channel I'll keep on watching and learning stuff. Thank again. God I wish I lived in an Asian country you could just walk into a 7-Eleven and get gundams lol 😅

Hey, I love your videos but I wish you would compile a rating system of all the metal paints you've tested as I'd be interested in which ones have the smallest particle/flake size. Pretty much everything you test seems to spray and look awesome but picking one over another isn't easy as I know there's more data/comparisons that could be done and you have every paint known to man so you're just the guy to do it :-)

They look fantastic...thank you very much for the review of this paints!!!....What I read in their website the reason they don't smell so hard is because they are trying to work with the environment. BTW NB doesn't mean anything, it's just two grades of surfacer. Fixing Surfacer is 800 grade, NB Surfacer is 1000 grade.

Wow I just love that metal green and all the metals come up beautifully. I'm trying to get a metallic Olive Green for a Porsche I'm going to build soon. Could you darken the metal green by mixing a bit of the black with it ? I'd like to see that green over the detail metal color also which I think would be a great finish for a car also.. Hopefully we can get these paints here in Oz. Thanks for another great review.
@statoilbensin21902 жыл бұрын
I think you need a metallic black in order to darken it. Sad part is that not many metallics are black. The only two metallic blacks I know is Humbrol enamel metallic black and Mr color metallic black and it can be used to darken their other metallic colours. I know they got metallic green colours and maybe you can darken some of those. But it will still not be a metallic olive green unless you can mix some metallic yellow in their. I guess you need to search up how to mix a olive drab and then try get those colours in metallic.

I like this paint as much as any I've tested. I do like the unique colors more like the metal blue I never pick a paint based on pre thinned or not. You can double any jar with thinning make it all the same. Difference is that you can brush on a paint that's not pre thinned and sometimes you need to brush on paint. My personal paint line, Mecha Empire is an enamel because it brushes on as good as it airbrushes making it a dual purpose paint

@@barbatosrex9473 Thank you! But I will only brush with youre paint until summer comes and im all alone. For some reason I can spray lacquers and the fumes will be carried out by my spraybooth. However when I spray with enamels my paintbooth will stink for days and other family members will get affected by chemical smell. The day I sprayed humbrol enamels I har the booth sprayfilter the other way and that might have been the reason why ventilation was poor. But just in case I will wait for summer when im alone.
