Just FYI for people who have never been to "normal" America, meaning not the big cities that you see on TV. The nicest and most polite people that you will meet will be outside the cities and will probably be gun owners. It is not a big deal here like it is in most of the world. Yes, Trump did play golf the next morning. It's a happy place for him on the green, and very calming for him. He is an incredibly good golfer and recently played with Bryson DeChambeau on his YT page! Everyone here should watch it - so nice just seeing Trump just play a round of golf and be a regular guy for a while! It's an hour, so watch on your own if you'd like or find clips, but I definitely recommend it.

The military doesn't use AR-15s they use M-16s or M-4s for the most part

The only difference is the hammer, trigger, disconnector, selector switch and bolt carrier. The M16 M4 has the auto sear and its pin added that a civilian AR doesnt have. Other than that they are exactly the same.

@@The1SSGrant Not a big sports fan or golf, but I do remember Trump actually played himself in some PGA tour rounds. The PGA is all pros and not for avg. players. I think I remember one of them also included my Governor on his courses at the Greenbrier. I am a history buff and Dad used to play some golf (not good normally 2-3 below par per hole) Normally with coworkers before retirement. Early on he did the same with bowling. I did bowl at times and normally did well on the 2nd or 3 game. First was finding the sweet spot and 4th became unsteady as I tired. I typically had one 240-260 game in the bunch. The ally I played at is gone and when they tore it down the installed a monument to the business that started there prior by the Schoenbaum family with one of the famous Bigboy's from the Shoney's chain.

@@The1SSGrant To break 50 on an 18 that is between 2.5 an 3 strokes per hole and well bellow Par. Trump and My governor do have one advantage over some pros at golf helping them to rank. Because they both are PGA course owners, they can practice on the course anytime and learn tricks that you would only expect from 20year pga tour vets. (one I picked up from watching pros go for the masters is hitting the roof on the last hole, everyone who did it landed on the green and saved a stroke.

Golf course story & quote you mentioned is TRUE! (Golf course is next to his house.) U.S. Representative Pat Fallon recreated event without having any particular training for that distance. They set up roof, target & other conditions, & he took 16 tries at target & got 15 out of 16. One missed would have hit ear. Trump survived is because he turned his head sideways to look at screen. After secret service got him off ground, Trump pump his fist at crowd yelling, "Fight! Fight! Fight!" Iconic photo.

My state of Washington banned AR-15 sales so I bought two just one week before the ban. Surprised at the small caliber though. I filled out documents and the feds approved it before I got home. I turned around and picked them up right away. From purchase to getting them home took about two hours.

Lots of arm chair "ballistics experts" coming out of woodwork lately. Think of how many people thought it was a BB gun at first because they didn't think about the fact that the microphones picking up the shot were 150 yards from the point of origin. 6:50 America wouldn't be burning if the shooter would have been successful, I'd estimate that America would experience something similar to "The Troubles" but on a much larger scale. People loyal to Trump wouldn't riot, one of the first things they would do is make lists of all the people praising the shooter then anyone that could have had something to do with it, politicians, leadership of federal agencies, corporate executives that wanted him gone, media personalities that were caught praising the shooter or engaging in the cover up etc and well you can probably put 2 and 2 together from there because what do just about all Trump supporters own and know how to use alot better than the left does?

As the oddly large amount of other comments mentioned the US military doesn't technically use AR 15s but without nerding out on the details it's basically the same thing as a M4 and M16 and they all basically use the same ammo (the civilian AR mainly just has some different internals so its semi only not full auto or burst) so while its technically not correct to call them the same its fine by me because they're pretty much the same just that the civilian version got nerfed and they're being phased out anyway to make way for the 6.8x51mm M5 which is totally different in literally every way. Also I'm surprised no one mentioned the HK416 that the Marines (or at least Recon, Force Recon, etc Marine units) use since its far more different than the AR vs M4 comparison but is called an M4 by some which is totally inaccurate
