Dude we love you but these e-bike videos are getting old. None of these companies are doing anything new and interesting. Most of these $5,000-$10,000 bikes can hardly do anything the $1500 bikes can’t. Some are faster but there’s not much really To Make All these videos on

The sound of those offroad tires is so cool. I ride an electric unicycle (Veteran Sherman) with stock offroad tire. The sound of that tire on asphalt always makes me smile!

@icyrene1 After having the step through, I personally can't imagine wanting the high step. Although the high step is rated for taller riders, (and maybe I'd like that), I'm content. The only notable thing I can think of is it makes it not work on many bike racks, as there is no bar to mount it on.

Another cool review Inja. I really like the new “beat/mix” you have in the background. Like I said last time it’s sounds more Ninja Inja style. I like your style cause you don’t talk forever about unrelated BS you get to the point THE BIKE. When you called this color “Sand” I was like??? Kid must be smokin a bit before the video, but as the sun set and I saw your white cars in the background I clearly saw it was beige or tan. It looked white in the beginning of the video to me. Safe riding bro 👍🏼👍🏼 Peace from NYC

Seems like a nice ride for the money. Of course the last full suspension mountain bikes I bought were car swap meet specials that I think I paid 40 for both and we rode them around the meet a little. One was ok, other had a bent rear rim😂

I like it, but i would definitely need a way to remove or increase that 20mph limit. many roads where I live are 25-35mph going into town. But we don't have bike lanes as it's a very small town. And I definitely do NOT want to be holding up traffic here. I really don't want to get run off the road because I'm going 20 in a 35.

It can be unlocked but top speed is still going to be about 28 miles an hour do two laws about class 2 and 3 ebikes. If you want to go faster than that and you're not going down hill, you should be looking for a scooter.

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. kzbin.infoUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

I've watched every video on this bike and no one talks about how SLOW it can go. Can I comfortably do 3 or 4 mph while holding my dog's leash? I do that every day on my nimble 20" ebike, but it doesn't like hills. I want to move up in size and power but not at the expense of being able to go slowly when I feel like it. Any thoughts?

It seems that this bike is not suitable for shorter individuals. I purchased the bike that is recommended for Rider Heights between 5’1” and 6’4”. Unfortunately, my wife and I, who are respectively 5'1" and 5'2", have to hop off the seat every time we come to a stop, which is uncomfortable and inconvenient. I tried to return the bike, but Velotricbike wants to keep $200 plus 20% of the purchase price, which is not a fair deal for me. Additionally, I have to pay for shipping, which only adds to the problem.

The style seems pretty common, like I feel I've seen it before (might be the same brand reusing the frame with different levels of power?) that said at least it's not ugly, very much a "big person" bike because it looked large even with you riding it. Being that big the fat tires and suspension soak up a lot of road vibration must make it a decent cruising bike although I wonder how sturdy it is over time.

$1500 is actually a huge rip off! Considering this bike is probably made in China, with no name cheap batteries, it probably cost the company around $500 to produce (probably a bit less). But this whole thing about making people thing an ebike is worth paying more than $1000 is nothing more than public brainwashing. Please name several brands of ebikes that ARE NOT made in China. In the long run, I question the build and safety quality in how it will stand up over time.
@bindingcurve
@bindingcurve Жыл бұрын
Then run your own import company ;) You can get some nice e-bikes, but they are going to cost more than this (unless you get really lucky on a closeout)
@ettcha
@ettcha Жыл бұрын
As much as I'm leary of Chinese imports especially where I live, companies with an American corporate presence are invested in insuring their quality control is up to par for their North American customers. Velotric seems to be doing a good job on that front. As for costs, those are the lumps you gotta take to cover all the costs besides the bill of materials, ie import tax and duties, compliance costs, local marketing and storage etc
@jrxtrc
@jrxtrc Жыл бұрын
@@bindingcurve That’s as stupid as saying Ford, GM, and Chrysler are so far behind Tesla for making American EVs so go make your own. How am I not wrong for calling out BS???? Most of these bikes or bike parts come out if the same factory so it’s not as though they had to go through all this R&D that would have raise the price. Why is there are so many reports of spontaneous fires from products coming China? I can understand the price if it was made in the US, but with China’s reputation for quick builds especially on startups it’s doubtful
@davidlittlefield2483
@davidlittlefield2483 Жыл бұрын
China is building some pretty good quality for a fair price. The Chinese are manufacturing impressively high volumes of products that put North American production volumes to shame. Our North American politicians allowed this imbalance to happen. Hopefully we can claim back some of the manufacturing we have lost over the course of the last 43 years, but that is going to require some innovative planning and business incentives.

You really don't know what you're talking about. Velotric is founded by one of the guys that founded Lime. They know what they're doing. This is one of the few e-bikes that has a weight capacity of 440 lb. It's also one of the few bikes that is UL listed... And my understanding is they use Tesla grade cells. If you don't have the money for an e-bike, why are you watching reviews? Get on your Big Wheel and right over to Grandma's for some cookies.
