TF2's Forgotten gamemode is really fun!

No not manpower or passtime, in this video we will be looking at a real forgotten gem: the dueling mini game. In this video we will talk about why they are so much fun, and why I think playing them could actually could help you become a better player!
-sidenote this was some of the most shitty gameplay, just for your enjoyment ;D

Honestly the first and last time I dueled in TF2 was when I was on uncletopia and I was messing around with the bison then I saw an enemy soldier doing the same so we dueled and I lost 1-0

Hahaha, that does sound like a duel for the ages, the only thing I could think would be better, is a Pomson vs Pomson duel!

I'd don't think I've ever had a duel go to a higher score than 6 points total.

Ohh so that's what that duel thing is, I started playing tf2 somewhat recently so have only heard stories from veterans about some forgotten gamemodes like passtime, arena etc that are apprently not even playable anymore which is a shame (same thing seems to have happened with the VS Saxton gamemode too now 😔). I once got a duel invitation in one of my matches, i thought that accepting it would transport me to a seperate lobby with just that player and i didn't want to abondon the match so i declined lol 😅.

That's so sad. I think it's weirdly upsetting how due to the "new" way of quickplay these gamemodes go unexplored. Arena, Passtime, Manpower, or even things like specail delivery on the map Doomsday, some of these ofcourse were better than others, but at the end of the day it was more ways to play a already good game. It's like taking races out of gta5, it might not be the full game you are removing, yet it is that extra something that makes the game feel more alive.

definitely encourages me to try out the dueling mini game. Despite having 4k hours in the game I don't have that many friends on TF2, maybe this will be a way to make some new ones

I sure hope so! It's a weird thing finding friends within games. Most of the guys I play with nowadays, I found whilst they, were the enemies.

Yea actually true, I try and start them before going outta spawn before match start, sometimes I'll be in there for 30 sec-1 min just cuz folks don't wanna... I think it's a shame

The real way you use the dueling mini game is when somebody mocks you or if the enemy team has a very irritating player like a scorch shot bot

True, nothing better than beating that one sniper that taunts after every kill!
