Al was basically a D coordinator throughout his ownership of the Raiders. The Raiders always ran a 4-3 with man coverage. I can remember when they changed, my first thought was Al must really trust this coach. When they changed back my next thought was Al must have seen he got a 4-3 personal and decided he wanted his defense back

I was and am a 49ers fan. Remember very clearly Sapp (and Moss) going to the Raiders and they screwed that up so quickly it was laughable. Got to see them both play a couple times and they were good in Oakland but Al was in charge then before he passed.

He’s mixing up 3 completely different years. Chris Clemons wasn’t a Raider until 2007 and only for that year. The 2 win season was 2006 and his 3 sack game against Tennessee was 2005.
