The more True Crime we all watch, the more competent we become.... If you are a True Crime Fan or a step up to hardcore True Crime Junkie, you've probably already noticed that it undoubtedly takes a determined, strong family to aid police in actually finding the guilty party! I understand that some police departments get overwhelmed, but some of these cases exhibit sheer neglect and disinterest in actually providing justice. As our society stumbles through this extremely confusing and scary time, I fear more and more of these types of instances are going to happen. I think it's important to emphasize how much Larry and his family have been manipulating the children. He's the accused murderer, but his parents were given custody of the children. Larry was ordered to have no contact with the kids, who are 5, 10 and 11 years old. Despite the restraining order, he called the children repeatedly, as late as 1:45 am and spoke with them for hours. He would call his parents and have them use speakerphone so that he could further communicate with the children. On October 27th he was back in court being admonished by the judge for repeatedly violating the order. But the kids still live with his parents and are still being kept from their dead mother's family. It's just disgraceful the way that he and his family are using the children and distorting the truth.
@momluvzsprtz3 жыл бұрын
A child psychologist will be able to tell and work with the children to obtain the truth. The psychologist will know if they've been coached and manipulated. Especially the 11 year old. The smaller children do not have the reasoning skills to fabricate stories. Hell be uncovered, the Bastard.

This seems to happen a lot. A friend of my parents was murdered by his wife and her boyfriend. Bitter custody fight, murderer’s parents got the kids, who turned out terrible, no surprise. The victim was a wonderful man, a really nice guy. I’ve seen other cases where the same thing has happened, the killer’s family gets the kids. I can’t imagine the logic in those decisions. Yes, every now and then, good parents just have a bad seed, and maybe they are in a better position to care for the kids, but it seems to happen far too often.

Something that I haven't heard discussed is the fact that psychologically Larry no longer saw Maya as a human. She had become an object of obsession and he wanted to possess that object (Maya). He didn't see her as a human being because he had no compunctions about maiming and disfiguring her just so he could keep her.
@ElaAusDemTal3 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same - he was so used to her being always there for him, since they were in high school, that he just straight out refused to accept her decision to leave. He needed the illusion of being the one in charge, the one she needed and deferred to (just look at his infantile hand gestures on the pics of them together - I'd call that childishly macho) and by deciding to leave him, he would have been back to being just some regular guy, not a father figure with a devoted beautiful woman by his side. I guess he never saw her for who she really was all along. How he came up with the idea to pay money for someone to put a "hex" on her is beyond me, though...

@dustin6283 жыл бұрын
Well it's used as an excuse bc it's smart, and has a good chance of working. It starts off as a missing persons case, not a homicide, and it isn't illegal for an adult to leave and not want to be found. No body or evidence of a crime makes it extremely hard to convict someone. It happens all the time. I think what will really do the husband in is the cctv of the shots fired, the neighbor testimony, and what his son is able to say about their 11 hour phone off trip when he probably got rid of any evidence. Hopefully they find some cctv of him on that trip so they can trace where he went.

I'm surprised that no one called the police when those 8 apparent gunshots were heard. 🤷♀️ Those poor children, there's no telling what they saw or heard in those days surrounding her death. I hope that May's family has custody of the children as I feel that they are very cherished and well taken care of by them.

Nobody calls the cops for gunshots outside gated lib communities lmao. That's kinda just what happens when you have a country with literally more guns than people. They go off. People go shooting. Unless you're anti gun this is the society you choose lol.

Couldn't agree more. We live rurally and are used to the odd shot or two, but the screaming and consistent firing not to mention the dogs. To many things to ignore for sure!

We get fireworks regularly... Its no surprise to me... If some are actual gunshots. I dont live there but.... Most who've never heard gunshots probably wouldn't call it in.

Now that I'm at the end... I am so worried about Maya's kids. The audio clip from her neighborhood on January 7th at 9.30ish sure sounds like gun shots, followed by clips of her kids screaming like they heard & saw enough to have told someone about what happened. I hope those babies are okay now that they are with their aunts and uncle & grandparents.
@chrissyknowsitall51703 жыл бұрын
I heard screaming too. I sure hope those 3 babies didn't see anything. I'm so tired of hearing about husband's/boyfriends killing women. It just seems it's getting out of control.

@@chrissyknowsitall5170 Toxic men, here we go again bla bla bla
@jebbush66573 жыл бұрын
@@chrissyknowsitall5170 because you watch content like this. Violent domestic abuse has been declining, like all crimes, since a peak in the late 90s. The only break to this trend is 2020, where Covid isolation increased familial and roommate (basically all cohabitant situations) violent crime rates by a decent jump from 2020. However, they're going down so far in 2021, though official statistics haven't been released past July. Not saying this to insult or rag on you, just saying that watching a lot of this stuff (which I do) can skew your perspective. Same with watching cable news tbh. Actual statistics disagree with the idea that this or really any crime is more prevalent now than it was 10 years ago.

Does anyone know where i can get blood shrine design/decorating tips? My old shrine is looking a little tired & shabby, and it hasnt been too effective. Wondering if i should just scrap the whole thing and go into totems or monoliths. Has anyone measured the efficacy of a blood totem that you can sit on and cast spells.
