I think the 350Z is very underrated as something more than a drift car. I bought one a little less than a year ago and while I really love how easy it is to kick out the rear end, I want to make it a street/track car more than anything just because of how nimble and grippy it can be with decent suspension upgrades and a good tire. Not to mention boosting isn't the only way to go. It takes more time and effort than slapping on a turbo and a tune, but these things can be total N/A monsters with the right engine upgrades.

I had a 2004 z, only a couple years after they were first out. Immediately voided warranty, clutch, coilovers, bars, turbo, etc. Miss that car all the time!!

For me it's all about handling not raw power. My 350Z is a perfect balance of power and handling in stock form except for full coilovers. Add power and then grin grows by a power of 10. BFGrin Cool video! Just to add, the 350Z handling is what us old guys tried to get our 240Zs to do. I still have mine from 1973.

350zs / Zs in general are becoming that classic tuner boy chassis. Well built from the factory around 260-300hp if I'm not mistaken. I think Zs will stand the test of time. Plus this is a car even if its NA , it looks fast being still. 😂 I feel like you could drive this car harder because of its balance this time and I enjoy seeing you push peoples cars you review. #Zs4life someone call kiicks or get a 300zx on here David!!

The two tone with unpainted carbon throws it off I think. Would look better painted but it’s common on the z33 and z34 to do carbon fenders and hood sometimes even door skins but the whole thing being two tone messes it up

Fun fact, its technically not a CD009 on the hr and vhr cars. It's a JK41B. It's essentially the same thing, but with more refined synchros and a relocated slave cylinder (which is a pile of trash plastic mounted waste- that the only thing it does right is break). Good thing is you can get a Z1 external slave relocation kit and its essentially just a better CD009. Swaped it on my 08 HR. Very nice piece of mind.
