How often does this happen? I never got this question from a woman. With one exception, I also never ever met a guy who was dating several women. Is this an American thing? Such things are super rare. The only guy I met who was seeing several women was American. Most people are in either in LTRs or are single, all other options are rare.

I made a sociogram, a graphical representation of the closest friends and friends of friends of friends together with their relationship status. Of several hundred people, 88% are married, 11% in monogamous LTRs, and 0.9% single (only men). Only 0.1% (one guy) dating multiple people.
