Just picked up a CX70 3.3L Turbo S Premium Plus in White. Got the digital mirror and Premium Towing. Amazing vehicle to drive. I’m glad it’s the same size as the CX90. I play keyboards in two bands and need the cargo space, but don’t need to carry around a 3rd row of seats.

It amazes me how the US, Europe and Brazil (where I currently live) car markets are so different from each other
@KeithSchwerin3 ай бұрын
US market sucks. My self and a lot of people i work with are annoyed that we just cant find any vehicles we like because companies keep killing cars. We all want something that's 4 door, fun, around 200HP, and AWD, preferably a manual, but NO ONE makes that. Either you have to give up AWD, the manual, or settle for like 185HP, or move up to a turbo engine with like 250-260HP and worse on gas.

In some car play and android auto there's an option to make it a touch screen. All you get over the cx90 is less seats and more under floor storage. They are nearly the same price so this could have just been a different trim.

Impressive. Only nit is the deletion of the third row was an opportunity to add further differentiation from the CX-90 by making the rear end less bulbous.

Just turned 2k miles on my turbo premium plus. Overall, love the vehicle, but I have a growing list of issues I hope will be addressed: 1. Wireless charging never works, so hopefully a software update will eventually fix. When I place iPhone on it, it opens my apple wallet. Lol, maybe Mazda is looking for more money... 2. Rattles 🤬! Something annoying in console area I can't pin down yet (faint and high pitched), and something in the rear seats (maybe more). I see others with rear seat noise so I'll point that out to dealer. I do notice the rear seats vibrate (left to right) quite a bit when driving so not sure what that's all about? 3. Something not great in powertrain when starting slowly. Like a hesitation between 1st and 2nd gear. Does not do the same in sport mode (but can’t set sport mode as default). Good luck owners - Hope Mazda and dealers transparently address these issues.
@jeffs60903 ай бұрын
Therefore, it never should have the different name! No other 3 row that can come as a 2 row (ie GV80) has a different name because of the 3rd row delete. This CX-70 even keeping the third row cup holders is just plain laziness! Mazda just messed up their entire naming structure.
@DeeEllEff3 ай бұрын
As an owner of a CX-70 PHEV Premium, I won’t argue with the naming thing. But I’ll note that I just don’t care what it’s named; 2 other Mazda models that are not available in the U.S. are also virtually identical but are named differently: the CX-60 & CX-80. Take it up w/ Mazda Marketers. Note, all in all, I hate marketing.
