i think men who are emotionally blocked or blocked with their self expression are scared of women who are self expressed. In my recent experience, my aliveness, joy, intensity, passionate personality, and self expressed self, soon after date 1 got me ghosted. Sometimes everything that we are is too much for people. Berns advice reminds me that regardless I should keep expressing myself and be fearless. So this is what I plan to do. It has got to inspire the right date one of these days, maybe if I can find one who has some life and spark within as well

😂 the self soothing delusion 🤦🏻‍♀️ You clearly have no self awareness and think you can act obnoxious and people just HAVE to accept you 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ No love, it’s you who has to accept that if you aren’t going to regulate being in peoples faces and get on their nerves then they’re not going to want you, unless you happen to find someone equally obnoxious with as little self awareness as you

My lesson is never give ur power away and only get vulnerable until 6months upward or share them before you lay down and see how he handles ur challenges. Well if he subconsciously senses, or he senses an energy that you are overanalyzing him or every day analyzing the relationship, it may actually discourage him..... Or even if you would meet a guy and you would somehow scene an energy that he is analyzing you with his friends and analyzing every word every action, then you would feel uncomfortable. because you know it from your job where coworkers analyze each other instead of appreciating each other or engaging the feeling of connection. Love is the opposite of analysis love is not about logic or rational thinking. Love is energy. It's about Quantum physics. If you will listen to your inner guidance instead of analyzing people with an analytical mind...then the inner guidance gives you some tips to continue with intuition and love. The analytical brain may give you the wrong advice. Because our projection creates an illusion about the person. Because the person may make one mistake, the next day the person may make 10 beautiful things. we are not supposed to judge based on our distorted observation if we really dont know what is going on. People may decide every moment to be loving and emphatic because read a book about it etc.

10:00 - “Because Vulnerability also triggers reciprocity.” This was gold. - I tried so hard for the last 4 months to make something really work with someone. She wouldn’t allow herself to be vulnerable. Or be open / communicate much. Though she told me that she treasured talking with me. That I was like an angel to her. I tried and tried-but it flatlined. Emotionally I got spent. I am now a bit jaded to girls now-but what this man is saying is right on. Girls listen plz 💙🙏

But in the end we talked and it was the first time he opened up to me as well about something he´d never talked about before. I feel this is amazing. I am new to your work. What strikes me is the amount of men telling women how to be. Perhaps more of the same. An empowered woman (I coach women) will expose a mans level of consciousness. That said …we do have a situation 😉 where more women are doing the work… My intuition is telling me we are going to hold men more accountable as we heal our wounds and know our worth. There has been a bit of entitlement 😉 with the “hierarchy”. Keep rising ladies and closing the gap. Appreciate your lens.
@BernMendez

Thank you for stopping by and for sharing your thoughts. I see myself much more like an insider helping my fellow sisters to understand men than as a man attempting to tell them how to be. I have a great degree of certainty that the intelligence of the women I have the privilege of reaching can tell the difference between a person manipulating them into becoming someone they're not versus a person sharing helpful ideas that can make a giant difference and significantly cut down the time it takes to get where they want. I do agree with you that as more men connect with women who understand their worth and reflect it in actions we will have no choice but to evolve or perish ;)

@@BernMendez I so appreciate your response!!!!! The way you articulate is so calming. And I can feel your sincerity. There seems to be a bit of the opposite out there ... info where women are once again abandoning themselves (hello women wound of codependency) to "get" a man. (Perhaps I spoke out of turn or too soon as new to your channel...). That said...in my experience the more grounded and empowered women become the less they care about "doing" things to get a man. They just embody it. Thank YOU for helping the sisters out!!! Hmm...maybe you can help the guys....oh wait..they don't need it. (Wink Wink) Love to you and your tribe!! xx

Sadly, the vast majority of men are like this. They want women who act like men: emotionless, cold, operating from the head instead of the heart. It's definitely one of the main reasons I end up single every 4-5 years or so. SMH. I'm tired of this. Men CAN show emotions and declare love for you, but once they know you're reciprocating, show emotions, and have mutual, strong feelings for THEM, the tables turn and they lose respect for you. This is because men know that being "in love" means you're in the weaker position now, just like they know they were at first when they declared they first loved you. The relationship goes downhill after about 2 or 3 years. This has always been the pattern for me. If I ever come across one who is, and doesn't start disrespecting me once I show my emotion, which takes work for a man to get out of me, then hopefully it will last this time, and end in a marriage. Wishful thinking!

Bern you are so so so good at this. It's the reminders of all 4 I somewhat have gathered over the years, and somehow the German culture is a bit different and so is being 53. None the less, I speak up a lot more and my worth at 53 of someone who has lived healthfylly and beautifully since age 18 is difficult to find an equal here on Berlin. People are I believe mostly avoidants here after the generations of war and wall. I'm doing ok, but I kind of actually have to try to to be my self down. I am no longer willing to relocate to where a man is at. Those were my first two mistakes. Hence, I would love a video about what you know about mixed cultures.

But he married my mother in law, who: 1. can't cook 2. not pretty 3. an okay mother to her kids 4. don't know how to make money never had a real job 5. excel at cleaning the house Bottom line she's so mediocre, but she lives a very good life bc of her husband's income. She is pampered and every needs are met by him. The only reason for this is bc she has all the feminine quality in women that every high value men crave. She is a representation of a feminine character.

@@rlrlrlrlrl0 It's because women entered the workforce. Men were never meant to compete with women. Only other men. There's nothing sexy about career women. Men want homemakers to love and protect. We don't want to compete with women. We're not indimitated, it just feels wrong. The same reason why we refuse to hit women, even if it's justified. It just doesn't feel right. Women wanting to compete with men in finances, education and career has made the whole dynamic lose the romantic component. We want to sweep a girl off her feet and give her everything she can't give herself. Can't do that if she also has a 100k salary. We want women to stay at home with the kids while we provide for you. Can't do that if you're doing 60 hour workweeks too. Men aren't as attractive to women for the same reason. Stop competing with us, it's not that we can't handle female competition. It's that competition is masculine and it dims attraction. Feminism has killed romance. Being a stay at home mom is better than being a career woman. Everyone is happier and more fulfilled. As a man, competing with women has always felt extremely uncomfortable for me. I remember one time in highschool my football team played against a girls team. We beat them, but it sure didn't feel good. It didn't feel like a real win. It feels good to compete with men. It feels very uncomfortable to compete with women, even if we win. Real men just want to provide for a woman, not compete with her

Being vulnerable with men has not worked out in my favor tbh. Usually men either start to disrespect me or lose interest .

Just the other day I opened up even more, because vulnerability is scary to me. Always has been yet Im doing the work to open up even more and I see it as a beautiful thing. Im a flower that's still blooming as long as I continue to water the soil beneath it.

Try these on for size: 1. Honesty 2. Loyalty 3. Intelligence 4. Beauty In that order, too. Being stunningly beautiful isn't anywhere close to as important as the cosmetics industry spend hundreds of millions of dollars a year trying to convince you it is. But... You do need to take care of yourself physically as well as mentally and emotionally. And, no, that's not loyal like a dog. That's loyal like the members of a team are loyal to one another. Because that's what you're supposed to be: A team. Insecurity (mostly driven by social media, the entertainment industry, and marketing) is what keeps you from feeling like you're an equal partner. That's loyal like not trying to assuage your insecurities by flirting with other men. Put down the phone, stop drinking the poison. You'll feel a lot better for it. Get up and _do_ something. THAT is how you build confidence. $1000 of makeup isn't going to make you feel better about yourself. A $10K wardrobe isn't going to make you confident around men. Knowing that you can do things and that you can hold up your end of a conversation is going to make you a lot more confident than a pound of makeup ever will.

But what if i try to do all this but the man i am with is deeply wounded, has mother wounds and is super critical and emotionally abusive sometimes. I love him and want him to heal and not lose him. He has started therapy and is trying but is quite rude and critical with me. When I am not with him he misses me but when I am with him little things about me annoy him. He shuts me down when i try to express a need.

@@BernMendez 😉 The top one in my opinion is creating the openness.. making the man feel very comfortable to be himself in and out of the bedroom. Submission! It’s not for everyone and I sure couldn’t submit to just any man. 😁

I pushed a new guy away. im 59. my bf told me to go flirt with him. I did. I think he liked it. Gosh, its just so hard, but Im pushing myself as I see that he has pushed himself a lot since the beginning. reciprocity comes from being vulnerability--read that in the comments.
