One of the biggest, life changing realizations I had was learning that Energy and Tiredness are Emotions. Yes you can be physically tired, but very often, you are Mentally Tired and it's due to usually due to fear or dread. Once you realize that, you can actually tackle your fears and you will have much more energy. Fear and dread usually come from having gigantic tasks you have no idea how to even begin dealing with. But if you can break it down into smaller pieces and have a plan ready, then suddenly they become less dreadful. And your tiredness almost magically goes away.

Tom, after spending a year at a job where I worked horrifically long exhausting hours the entire staff was laid off without any warning 9 weeks ago and I simply can NOT GET BACK UP! To be honest I have been sick twice since then and I’m struggling to rebuild not just my stamina but my will to go on. I just can’t muster the motivation to move forward. Getting so sick didn’t help at all but mentally, I’m in the grave. I’ve literally lost ALL DRIVE to work any more and I’m terrified. I’m in a deep DEEP DEPRESSION, close to losing everything and it has immobilized me. I’m completely lost. On a side note I watched a small panel of 3 world renounced experts the other day who all said, “Adrenal fatigue does NOT exist.” That was the first time I’d ever heard anyone say that. When the interviewer asked the question about AF the doctors all looked at each other and started laughing. Who knew. I’ve been trying to find that interview so I can finish watching it.

Hi, Tom! This is really fantastic! The only video that equals this one, is the ITU course "Build Discipline...". I love it and the best part of it, is that I verified most of the keypoints you outlined here! This is simply amazing! Huge thanks for this and all my gratitude! I am going to recommend it on my Forum. I already did this with many others, but this is something huge and I want the people in my team to study this thoroughly! I made lots of notes, but I need to see it many times to fix deeper and deeper some ideas. My bio dad hated me and worked daily to destroy anything and everything I ever tried to do or accomplished. Do you have any idea what it's like to have one of your parents openly working against you? Everyone saw it and did nothing because they were so afraid of him. I was too and I rallied and railed against him and succeeded anyway. He was a coward and I figured that out early. I weaponized my needs, wants and desires to systematically get myself, my siblings and my Mom out of an abusive situation and painful self induced (by him) poverty. I need to get back to that level of intensity but so many people cannot get near me because of the BTU's my drive generates. I guess I need to not concern myself with that and just do me.

@floydsmithjr79992 жыл бұрын
A problem with repetition (boredom) is you begin to question if you’re doing the right thing. You start thinking that maybe you should be doing something else when the thing is, it should be boring. It should be so boring you can do it with your eyes closed. I think what you need to do is find ways to make an activity that is boring, not boring. I find the best way to get motivated is to learn something new, a new way of doing whatever you’re doing or something new to add to whatever you’re doing. I don’t think anyone is lazy. You’re right, what people need most is inspiration. Inspiration will create a purpose. A purpose created from inspiration will ignite motivation. The subconscious is the “X” factor. If you don’t constantly bitch slap your subconscious into submission it will wreak havoc on every aspect of your life. The subconscious by definition is the wild animal part of you. If you don’t tame it and train it, it will bite you on the ass.

My husband loves his career and told me if he ever won the lotto, he wouldn't quit is job. However, he only works 40 hours a week because we have kids and he gets quite a bit done in a short amount of time. Plus, on his off time he's thinking about work and brainstorming (yes even on the toilet). So.. if you count those hidden hours it's way over 40 ;) Myself? Yeah.. I didn't like my career enough and am taking a back seat to rethink things.
