How has it been, considering analog summing and this is one of my choices I’m considering.

Absolutely love my Orbit! Hitting it hard with levels makes it so special in its sonic capabilities and if you want more Console sound use the -6db output and your all set with very natural compression! Cheers

nice , do you use hardware before hitting the Orbit ? (it hasn t insert like others summing mixers). Thx

@@MELOPSMUSIC Yea sure, i use what i need before letting the Orbit Sum the Mix, after the summing i have a Hardware “Masterbuss” setup for my own taste of sound. So i hit the orbit quite hard and lower digitally a bit before the HW Master chain adds gain through Saturation. The Orbit plays a huge role in the total sound! Cheers

Got one of these coming this week. Just a quick question what cables do I need for this to connect to my audio interface.
@RupertNeveDesigns
@RupertNeveDesigns Жыл бұрын
Congratulations on the purchase! Specific cabling will depend on your interface, but the Orbit inputs are on 2x DB-25 connectors - one for channels 1-8, the other for 9-16. You'll also need one pair of balanced XLRs for either the MAIN outs or for the -6dB outs to get back into your interface, but you don't have to run both outputs at the same time - unless you want to, in which case you'll want two pairs of balanced XLRs. Feel free to email info@rupertneve.com for more specific advice!
