Some of these have IMS (Intermediate Shaft) bearing issues like those in 996 911’s (share an engine) and 986 Boxters, but i’ve read that it only affects around 1% of early 997.1’s. edit: you, as usual, have it covered my man

As long as the engine oil is not on temperature you have to keep it below 3000 rpm, than you will never have a problem! This video is a bad example...

0-60 is well under 5.0 seconds. For whatever reason, Porsche is notorious for overestimating their acceleration times. You would think they would want them to appear faster than they are, not slower
