Check you licensing agreement on the Insta 360 before using it. One issue with the insta 360 is in the setup it requires you to provide complete access to your gallery. Meaning it can now read and scrape your videos and pictures for AI training or use AI to determine subjects and content to send ads featuring your own videos and how an Insta 360 could have improved them. But if you are a content creator or using it for legal documentation and evidence gathering you may be under NDA's or evidentiary restrictions and this access to your gallery could potentially put you, your organization and the integrity of legal evidence at riskjor into legal jeopardy. They also may modify your videos and add information to them to favor the Insta 360 or may determine that some of the videos were shot with a competitors Gimble and alter the meta tags to remove the competitors information. If you refuse access to the gallery the device will not function until you provide full access. I can understand wanting access to videos made using the device but complete access just seems dangerous and unreasonable. They also need to clearly document when they access a video and what information they changed on it or if it was scraped and for what purpose. They also need to request a licence if it is used for commercial purposes by isnta360 and compensate the creators.

The animal tracking looks to be the best feature for what I would use it for. Could track my dog running around outside popping bubbles. Now. If they can ever add tracking to assist in filming planes flying at an airshow I’d buy one on the spot.

I have the base flow, it does the same thing and in my opinion insta360s in app tracking is way better than dockkit.

DockKit isn’t an App, but more like a protocol. Similar to how iPhones support Thread and Matter for better HomeKit support. It is something sitting silently in the background of your phone, ready to start going when you give it a device it can work with.

Game changing? The follow mode is not pro by any means. What is wrong with this generation. This is amateur. Handy yes, but amateur not pro. I won't be subscribing because your bar for pro is far too low for me.
