Fun fact:In the books the movie is loosely based on, Marmalade is revealed to be a many tentacled alien with butts at the ends Dreamworks wanted to do that twist, but they decided it would have come out of nowhere. Yeah, I think they made the right move

One of my teachers worked in this movie, Jorge Capote and he showed us behind the scenes footage. The jail scene that looked like spiderverse, he animated it in 2D, mapping the scene as reference for the 3D animators, It just blows my mind how good this moovie looks

@Bubbles-od2zm I really can't put my finger on it. But sometimes it feels like he's playing his bits out in a video just to check off boxes. There's quite a handful of his reviews that feel like he just needs a paycheck or is just going with the flow of everything. Also his friends aren't nearly as entertaining as him. I'd call him the anti-callmecarson where he's the whole package and his friends are just along for the ride. Also, his interests definitely touch more in the normie side of nerd media. His opinions are his own, but he's still swimming with trigger happy fish.

"The Bad Guys" instantly became one of my new favorite DreamWorks films so far! And yeah Diane instantly became the next big Furry waifu for many, Hell she immediately made my list of favorite DreamWorks characters because in addition to being attractive she's also one pretty badass fighter like a ninja! and she's a kind and caring person! I also ship her and Wolf. In fact one of my favorite scenes in this movie is when Diane takes the ring from Wolf only to give it back to him. Because I often theorize that the reason Diane gave the ring back to Wolf is because it was her way of testing him, To see if he was truly capable of going good, And when Wolf willingly gave the ring back to Diane it was proof to her that he had reformed.

I may have first found out about this movie by looking through the recent posts on rule 34. I saw some art of Wolf and I was like "Who the hell is this guy?" and I looked up the tag which was "The Bad Guys" and I did some research online and found out that a year prior, Dreamworks confirmed they were working on this film and that a couple hours earlier the first trailer dropped.

Here are some things in the book that isnt in the movie 1: Mr Piranha doesn't have legs in the book 2: Mrs. Tarantula was a boy in the book and was originally called legs but changed 3: When mr snake eats the guinea pigs, in book 2, he eats chickens but guinea pigs make sense. 4: Diane Foxington was called Agent Fox in the book and was apart of the International League of Heroes 5: Marmalade was a big villian in the book series and in book 5 revealed to be an alien with butt hands but that makes sense too 6: in the book world, they dont revolve with humans but with regular animals, and with Australian animals because the author is Australian. The movie isn't so book accurate after all

Wolf and Diane not officially dating in the end is both respectable and mildly frustrating. I respect it cause their relationship wasn’t the focus and would need more time to feel earned, and cause I like it when you avoid the hole “bad boy fixed by hot lady.” trope. Letting their flirting just stay flirting does make it clear he isn’t changing for her. Even if she has a positive influence. However it’s frustrating, because in so many movies, the love interest is reduced to so little, you can describe them with one or three words. If it’s a man, it’s one word and that word is: abs. If it’s a woman it’s three: “boobs and butt.” So many romantic subplots hinges on the main character being into the most boring and useless person ever, and yet we’re supposed to clap for the big kiss near the end. So WHY does a movie where they have genuine chemistry, not give anything? I mean, I know why, BUT WHY?! Oh well. Fun movie. Don’t have any strong feelings on the eventual sequel (I think it’s confirmed.) mostly cause Dreamworks is in a weird spot of either making good and fun movies, like the last wish, or boring and predictable movies, like ruby gillman. So we will see what the sequel will be when it’s out.
