I didnt like this film subconsciously it felt like a white supremacist film, like many films and tv now its a white male lead with poc female, the villains were radicalized white men who were allowed to mobilize, the hero shot at the end of the film is batman holding a white kid instead of the black mayor who was shot right next to them. Also wasnt a very good film overall and when the lights turned on in the cinema i was at i had almost a panic attack as i realized the majority of the movie goers were white men wearing backpacks.... and my mind went to the worst place. Films like these are very problematic to me

"chasing non-existent ideals... " Is this a flaw in all ideology or just when it's perverted or taken to the extreme? What leads to these extremes? (most likely fear, insecurity and lack of care) Does it matter? Does all ideology in absence of others that challenge it lead to the extremist tipping point, or is just a failure to exist in constant critique? Too many thoughts, I guess. All because of the mirror created by distance between digital screens.

If you really want, you could dissect Home Alone 2 along the same lines. It'd be a stretch, but it could be done and be more entertaining...
