Love your reactions. RE: the Elven ringsThe rings are for preservation, protection, and healing. They aren’t directly tainted by Sauron, so Galadriel is correct in that regard. However, they were made with magic/technology given to the elves by Sauron; because of this, they will fall under the domination of the One Ring unless the bearers remove them immediately. They aren’t evil, but they have the potential to be extremely dangerous. This episode is easily my favorite of the entire series.
