To further your resilience, check out the Daily 21s movement program here:

In this video, Tim demonstrates one of the most important movements you can do for your life. This is better than any amount of pull-ups, squats or deadlifts you can perform. This is the one movement you want to be great at. Give this a shot and let me know what you think.

At 75 I can do the first variation you showed. So now I just need to do it regularly to get the Beach Getup. 🎉🎉

I just love your script flipping. "Use it or lose it, or hey-use it to get it." The positive wording makes a difference to me. I appreciate you!

Tim, great move. Thanks. I will work on this. The ability to get up and down is so important and I am horrible at it. So, this move is a great place for me to start. Have a great day

I remember years ago, Jack LaLanne had a simple exercise of just getting on the floor and then just getting back up. Looks like you’re taking it a step further…..great job!… love your channel….

Awesome movement and brilliant explanation, as always. Not only I'll look cool at the beach from now on, this will also transfer to my regular Kettebell Getup practice as well.

Fairly fit for a 66 year old with osteoarthritis of hands and feet. Had a herniated disc two weeks ago and lost completely the power in one leg and a some power in the other. Very frightening two weeks on I am beginning to get power back daily. It makes me realise that you must be very careful of the fitness you have . Keep your weight light and train daily. I fell five times whilst strength is returning. Every physical thing I do now needs to be thought out carefully. I go downstairs backwards now with one leg straight like a walking stick because it collapses with eccentric contractions unexpectedly. I can get up from a flat floor . 2 years ago I was doing 20kg Turkish get ups. The danger is doing the wrong thing I could injure myself. Getting in and out of bath etc .

In Brazilian Jujitsu they call that the technical stand up.

@@OriginalStrengthSystem Yeah. They teach it for many of the same reasons you do. It can be fairly quick if you practice it enough, but even more importantly you can get to standing while maintaining stability, sometimes they refer to it as standing in base.

Great video Mr. Anderson. Hope you are doing well. Have you seen Exorcist III with George C. Scott? It’s the official sequel to the original Exorcist, based on the author’s sequel to the book the Exorcist. It’s not bad.

I’ve not seen that one. I recently watched the Popes Exorcist with Russel Crow though. It wasn’t great.
