What I want to know is this -- is the team treating this like the competition that this process is? Are they constantly monitoring and analyzing the other teams with openings, and adjusting their approach based upon what is happening with those teams and their interviews with regards to the guys that may have been on their short list from the beginning?

It's called due diligence if not for now for the future. It could also be for an OC/DC role now//later or even a position coach. H has a real good mind and he's also in touch with the now in college football.

What evidence do you have that he would be a good NFL coach? What evidence do you have that it’s his great coaching making all the difference and not the players on the team? Plenty of examples of college guys not working out well in the pros. It’s not hard to follow what their debate is.
