It was funny to watch Zerkovich's video about Gorgons: apparently Gorgons have pretty low mass and they fall to the ground very often while fighting monsters. Gorgons spent half of the battle time wiping the floor while fighting Necrosphinxes but still somehow managed to win :)

In Turins casualty screen (timestamp 6.02 in Turins video) the screen shows 6 surviving units even though he only had 3 single entities in his army - which means the maximum number of units that can survive the battle is obviously 3, not 6. This doesn't show in your casualty screen, however I think it might actually be the case that the game is multiplying units here.

Seems more flexible than a Jabber stack. 18 Ghorgons gives you acceptable if unremarkable infantry killing power and you can pack a lot of what you need in that lord/wizard slot, Ghorgons have a pretty small footprint so infantry really cluster around them netting you more value with AoE spells. If you happen to come up against a High Elf dragon stack the Ghorgons will be able to take it. A Jabber stack is better at dealing with what you're most likely to be fighting on a day-to-day basis unsupported, but when is it ever going to be unsupported? It benefits comparatively less from wizards and is going to have a worse time if the enemy busts out a monster stack.

i'm not sure i agree with your scoring, just because magic works so much better to cover the Ghorgon's weakness than it does the Jabberslythe's. as individual units, sure the Jabberslythe is better, but as an army with magic that can make infantry evaporate? i'm not so sure.

Yeah, I agree. Anti-infantry specialists are a dime-a-dozen in this game, there's so many options to cover that weakness. Anti-large, anti-single entity is much more rare, and it's easy to cover their weakness to mass infantry just as you say.

Something that really bothering me is the fact that after 3 years still dark elves black arks under AI never attacking any coastal city That's weird so weird And something worth noting is that Bestial Butchers got butchered by the CA Prior to this patch this skill had extra 15% physical resistance but they turned it to extra 15% missile resistance So it is one of the lines that beastmen got nerfed in this patch Also some of their great lord and hero skills are no longer existed like Slug Skin which gave the entire army extra 20% weapon strength or the gorebull red line skills that could stack up to for 4 times But i am really happy that they didn't remove the unsated bloodthirst trait cuz unlike legend and most of his fans i hate stacking nurgle foul stink and instead love to beefing up the minotaurs and making doomstacks out of them Before this patch i could make the weapon strength of my minotaurs up to 200+ with the help of technology (the kalkengard larder) and lord skills (slug skin + bestial butchers) and traits (Unsated bloodthirst) but now with the heavy nerf that slug skin received and the heavy change on the tech side i don't know if i can make that again Before the patch my army was made of 1 lord and 4 heroes all with the unsated bloodthirst wich all of them together worth 50%(5 * 10%) extra melee damage plus the technology(+ 20%) means 70% plus lord skills (+ 20% +12% = 32%) means 102% extra weapon damage for minotaurs in my army but i doubt that i can make the same after the patch

Judging by Zerkovich's videos, Ghorgons are kind of meh at dueling other single entities because their mass is weirdly low and they get knocked down a lot. They can't reliably beat a Necrosphinx.

Zerkovich's videos are more of a fun experiment then actual data regarding units. Unless the difference between two units is massive (one type wins all 5 battles with barely losing health) then the there's just too many elements during an actual battle (especially on campaign) to make full judgement. A unit might be a bit meh on it's own, but if it's race can provide enough support with army buffs, lord buffs, magic etc more then the opponent's race can then small differences in base strength of units is thrown right out the window. Two single entities will almost never simply stand and fight each other without some sort of intervention, especially two large monsters.

A mix definitely sounds like the way to go. Even if it's just a couple jabberslythes in with the ghorgons to give them the AoE, or a couple ghorgons in the jabber army to focus down a problematic target, a more even split probably isn't necessary (unless maybe you plan to field multiples of this army to juggle the dread cost). The fact they're so close in speed is a great bonus. Also, you said that wild magic has no buffs, is Mantle of Ghorrok gone or is it just not a worthwhile spell? I forget whether or not it has an AoE component.
